Got to say was exactly what was neeeded from trump . Russia have dominated and hold what they set out too. Could get way worse for Ukraine the moment Russia decide . Does that guy want to save lives

Trump is a nob but he is strong . If only other leaders said it how it is

Expect a media backlash from the easily offended tomorrow
Jesus. Trump was utterly out of his depth there. If you think that is the leader of the most powerful nation on Earth being ‘strong’ then I’m afraid you are a complete simpleton.

No offence meant of course.

There wasn't 'a plan' for anything, there never is with Trump as his attention span isn't long enough

It's the same as Trump being a russian 'asset'. They really aren't that stupid, even though they are loving this.

All those close to him know he won't see his term out, and Vance saw his chance to get himself into the minds of all those Maga morons. I just hope Europe now distances itself from Trump and we use this opportunity as the final straw to us getting back to being one of the major powers in Europe.

He's strong in orange colouring and bullshit, and that's about it.

I'm hoping that we will unite together more, and unite behind Ukraine. The signs are that we will.

It was damn good timing that Starmer organised a summit of European Leaders and Zelensky for Sunday. Almost as if he had a premonition.

Not the first time you’ve revealed yourself to be an utter clown.

Suspect this might be an unpopular viewpoint, but I don’t think Zelensky handled that very well. Telling Trump what to do is never going to go down well. He needed to play to his ego and manipulate him though it. Like Starmer did yesterday. A lot harder to do in your third language, I fully accept.
In retrospect he probably could have had a translator with him (not for his replies) ...just to slow down the pace.

And, maybe unpopular to say (I know), should he have worn a suit, just to take that issue out of the way 🤔 .
Any decent host would have chosen to understand that he always dresses like that in respect to the war...but he wasn't with any decent host 😟

It's time for Europe to step up.

We need to double down on our support for Ukraine.

How can any British person watch that and not side with Ukraine?
Don't have to be British, how can any decent person watch that and not side with Ukraine? Hopefully will be the spur to build a strong European response in support of Ukraine.

Trump's trying to manipulate and distort the narrative so he'll be able to say we had a deal in place which was all agreed with Ukraine which would have stopped the killing, but then Ukraine went back on the agreement, so the continuation of hostilities is all Ukraine's fault.

He obviously failed in his pathetic attempt to convince everyone that Ukraine were responsible for starting the war, so with his latest gambit he probably thinks he'll have a chance of convincing people that Ukraine are responsible for continuing the war, with his portrayal of them as the aggressors.

This in turn will provide Trump with the justification for his abandonment of Ukraine and his appeasement and support of Putin, who like him just wanted to achieve peace, unlike Zelensky.

It doesn't matter to Trump that most people won't buy that narrative as long as that justification exists in his warped mind and re-enforced and validated by his sycophantic enablers.
This is what I posted yesterday and that's exactly how it's played out today. Trump is so transparent and predictable.
