Yes, most likely Putin would pretend it’s on offer - as indeed he’ll pretend and lie about pretty much anything.Trump could dream of that, and Putin could pretend it was on offer, but America would never get it. Putin claims that the land is Russian, so there's no way he'd give any of the resources to the US.
But Trump can call him a dictator, lie about Ukraine starting war, about Zelenskyy having only 4% approval, insult him.... and yet Zelenskyy has to rein it in?On the BBC New site, Trump's man going all bully boy:-

White House National Security Adviser Michael Waltz says Ukraine needs to rein in its criticism of the US, as Washington tries to secure a peace deal to end the war.
"It's unacceptable, they [Ukraine] need to tone it down and take a hard look and sign that deal," he tells Fox News. The deal he is referring to is a push by Donald Trump for access to rare minerals in Ukraine in return for aid, or even as compensation for the support the US has already provided.
"We presented the Ukrainians really an incredible, and a historic opportunity," the adviser says, adding that it would be "sustainable" and "the best" security guarantee they could hope for.
Zelensky has publicly rejected an American bid to gain access to – and profit from - Ukrainian minerals, saying: "I can't sell our state."
But he says that the two countries can reconcile their differences.
I'm at a loss as to how to channel my angerBut Trump can call him a dictator, lie about Ukraine starting war, about Zelenskyy having only 4% approval, insult him.... and yet Zzelenskyy has to rein it in?
F*** this pr1ck and the even bigger gobby pr1ck he bows down too
I feel the same. A feeling of betrayal. Trump has p1ssed off all US allies to appease a murderous dictator. Whilst he doesn’t have to worry too much because he’ll be gone in less than 4 years ( thank god - I’m already counting down the days) we’ll be living with the aftermath of his hubris and ego for years to come. Trump’s now former allies should flip him a collective middle finger.I'm at a loss as to how to channel my anger.
And (sorry to depress us further) but possibly Vance or another prat to follow Trump, and Musk will be pulling strings behind the scenes for fxck knows how long.I feel the same. On the BBC, they tell us that the US side has banned the press from the meeting between Zelensky and Kellogg.
A fair few of the likely suspects really showing us who they truly are this week
Sadly I think Kellogg is now a patsy,- if he had any spine he'd resign and explain why, but he's 80, probably on a good bonus, and I suspect he'll just play the role.On the BBC, they tell us that the US side has banned the press from the meeting between Zelensky and Kellogg.
Would be niceI think it's a good thing the press aren't there. I believe that Kellogg is on Ukraine's side, and without the press he may be able to better express his support for Ukraine, and help Zelenskyy work out the best way to move forward.
Is Farage on the panel?Heads up - Question Time tonight at 10.40 BBC1 or 9pm on I-player. it is devoted entirely to
Ukraine with a Ukrainian MP, a former member of the Trump administration and now in the Defence dept.
Plenty of Ukrainians in the audience apparently.
