I want to say something nice:
The UK and Europe have welcomed and supported millions of Ukrainians.
,"Cottage industries" have sprung up all over, local donation hubs, convoys of donated pick up trucks and 4wd spares driving to Ukraine (I know, because two guys from our village are in one now), and many more initiatives.
Now we need our governments to be even stronger than they have been so far, both for Ukraine and for ourselves.

I could never have imagined that the biggest threat to freedom on earth would have come from the US.

Free people of the world need to stand up to it.

Some folk have been, for a long time.

Well, in our village (pop: 1,500) we will be flying the Ukrainian flag on the village green on Monday (3rd anniversary of the invasion). I trust and hope that the Ukrainian flag will be on show in force throughout the UK (and Europe) on Monday - and I really hope it pisses off Trump and his abominable crew.

I would be very pissed off if every country turned up for the 2028 olympic games in the States. The whole thing deserves to be a shambles
They will do though. They always do. Athletes, football teams, golfers, etc. - "Sport should be above politics" and all that............................

.........................especially when there's money involved.

Remember when you were at school and you were studying Hitler and Nazi Germany and you scratched your head and wondered how a whole society could let that happen?

Well guess what, the answer is happening before our very eyes.

The question is, what are YOU going to say when publicly asked which side of the debate you stand?

Too many people right now are just switching off; not watching the news because “it’s all so depressing.”

Perfect conditions for the ****s to win.

When Russia invaded the Ukraine they were excluded from taking part in big sporting occasions. Trump has been just as evil over this so the same should happen to the USA .

I hope the news channels talk it up.
Well done👏🏼.

This is different. He has to make the right decision.

It may be that Trump's behaviour has made his mind up for him - to fight on, but now with only the help of Europe.

He doesn't need to make any decisions like that. He just needs to fight on. It's worth him trying to make the right noises towards the US along the lines of 'they'll get paid for any aid they send, as well as anything they've already sent'. It certainly wouldn't be smart to refuse any more aid from the US. If Trump cuts it, fine, but Zelenskyy shouldn't cut it.

Since Trump won the election Zelenskyy must’ve been expecting events similar to what we’re seeing. I assume him and his advisors have been deliberating their next moves for months prior to today.

I know he’s not got a lot in his corner right now, but they must have a strategy of some kind… right?
