Hey folks, when you share the pictures you can reduce them in size by dragging the square they appear in. The only reason I say that is because some of them are taking up more than a laptop screen and losing their joy a little. The dummy one was two full scrolls.

Hove actually
They’ve put barriers up overnight. I wonder why 🤔

Thought I’d take a pic to show you … but the girl in the white top kept getting in the way

No idea why a couple of my photos have appeared as just links since I’ve been here. Please do click on the link to see the barrier 😜

Finnegans Elbow - Apologies if any of you are captured, it was not intentional so don't sue me.

Has anyone visited Circus Maximus (no it's not a Monty Python thing) ?

That is believed to be the actual site of most of the Christian martyrdom rather than the Colosseum. There isn't any real evidence that Christians were fed to lions at the Colosseum. I know it's not too far from there.

Yup. It's just like a big park now with people walking through. Hard to imagine quarter of a million spectators round the outside watching the chariot racing.

Stepson's thoughts: that'd be a bastard to steward :lolol:

Our hotel was £80 a night.
It's situated on the 2nd 4th and part of the 5th floor of a building.

Now for the cool bits.
It's got one of those teeny tiny antique wrought iron lifts and amazingly a roof top terrace.

Noice.
