No dickhead test? Judging by Zouma, Paqueta, and Kudus you have to be a dickhead to join West Ham
Not to mention their careless driver.

May l politely remind everyone that this is all based on no more than rumour? Lopetegui hasn't even been dismissed yet, so no one can confirm that Potter will be appointed the new manager, even IF it happens.

I think l'll wait for the fat lady to sing, if no one minds.
A large proportion of the posts on NSC are based (or at least started) on rumours, heresay or just plain nonsense. Why should we treat this thread any differently? :lolol:

Really? "resigned from his job at the end of the season, citing a low budget and the delay to the new stadium." Then moved to Hull.

I thought he was an arse for doing that. Oh well. My bad?
Hmmmm, I guess it's a difference of interpretation? I thought it was fair enough. He stepped in,got us promoted and then left at the end of the season giving a valid reason. He didn't jump ship to another 'bigger' club mid season. He didn't slag us off as far as I remember he just said that he didn't think he could do the job in the championship with us.

I think that's all fair enough. Then again I thought the 'mutual consent' label for RDZ's departure was also fair enough, so...who knows!

Nope he left with plenty of time for DK to find a replacement, and he wasn’t wrong for suggesting he wasn’t going to get the budget to have any more than a relegation fight, having got us promoted in style. He had replaced a “walk away” manager who thought we were such small fry that Adams was happy to leave mid season to be a f***ing assistant manager

Much much better morals from Peter Taylor imo

As you may have gathered, good as he was for us first time around, I never warmed to Adams. almost from the day he arrived he seemed to think he deserved better than L’il Ole Albion

It seems you are right!

Well, Sham are f***ed now. Lopatitty knows the club want him out, but unless the club acceded to Potter's requirements they will have shat all over themselves.

Comedy gold.
Well, comedy brown, anyway.

To be fair, a six month contract is bollocks unless you’re actively getting in a temporary Fat Sam firefighter kind of manager, who knows the role is just a stopgap. If West Ham actually want Potter as manager, they should offer him a normal deal.

Can't blame him for allegedly wanting a 2 and half year contract. He could tell them where to go with that performance related 6 month trial(in effect)?
He has to wait only a week or so and the Spuds gig will be his.
