I think he’ll do well and bring back the football WHU fans expect…..if they give him time
True, and lucky for them it only takes two seasons of watching your team fail to convert chances.

Then he plays well for a few game and fucks off.

Lucky lucky bastards.

For me the jury is still out on Potter as a manager.

I am interested to see how his career pans out to see if my (our) belief that he was close to doing somertgijng special with us was warrented.

Time will tell, football wise I think he is a good fit for West Ham (pretty shapes with little end product 😂).

The same programme PBOBE featured on he was followed by some West Ham ITK podcaster who claimed it would be a six month appointment as Potter wants a bigger club...marriage of convenience.

Surely this can't be true?

If it is, the fella is seriously deluded. Maybe he has been reading those letters from Han Solo/Swansman again. 😂

Has @Han Solo signed up on the WHU forum?
Lulz no not yet... not even seen the rumour (been up to other stuff) but I guess it isn't surprising.

Missed your ping as I have this thread on ignore (it just, despite the gnore, popped up among the "Latest replies" list next to the "We all follow the Albion"-category) as I got pretty tired of all the sob sisters who years later are still hurt by GPs decision to leave. Its silly.

Lets face it, if he had been as shit as some people repeatedly say, they wouldn't have been arsed talking about him for even five minutes after he left.
But its been years now. People need to move on like adults do, despite the Peter Pan syndrome of the average footy fan.

Now back to forgetting this thread and the clingy sob sisters.

Seems a good fit for me, but did TS go a bit early on this? Simon Stone at the BBC still reporting it as Lopetegui still there as of an hour ago:

If the rumours are true I think he’d be a decent appointment for them. Good time to take over for the right person at that club.

I'm going to hate seeing him manage another team in the Premier League. It's been hard enough seeing the best manager we've ever had sitting on the beach whilst we have a complete rookie takin

g charge of our team.

(Go on, shower me with laughing emojis, I believe it to be true... 😀)

A beach in Marseille?

The problem with Potter is that he is weak.
Proved that by thinking he had to change his personality at Chelsea.
And he couldn’t cope with the pressure of the fan base
West Ham will be worse.
Do we honestly believe that after a few games where they have 70% possession and don’t win, that the LondonStadium will politely clap the team off

You’ve been away too long.

Simon Jordan’s pod cast with Moyes mentioned the West Ham way Moyes asked what it was when he arrived and no one seemed to know 😂
only a few teams have a recognisable way imo, over a long period of time.
Arsenal with their short , quick intricate passing for one.
West Ham have been all over the place for years. No way.

You’ve already seen him manage another PL club and he made a complete mess of it.
FH is the German Potter we are now a low scoring bore drawing side again, you must be pleased.
