You can't??

What on EARTH is the point of combining a phone with an iPod if you can't even combine the two most obvious functions??

That is comic in the extreme

Nowhere near as comic as Dwayne spending 300 quid on a broken phone, though.

Also, 300 = $600, more or less, after conversion and all that crap. Is he admitting he bought the LOWER END model?

Someones already cracked the AT&T activation bollocks that apple had put on it so I would imagine there is someone well on thier way to an unlocker too. Either way with the AT&T activation cracked it is a f***ing cool ipod regardless of phone functionality.

There is a damn good chance there -is- no unlock functionality on the US models, as unlike the EU, its not legally required. The activation hack works by using your PC - WINDOWS PC, by the way, so no use for an Apple fiddler - to pretend to be the activation server. Simlocks don't work that way.

Dwayne's going to look rather stupid then, with a depreceating (you know the US price is going to drop soon), US-locked cellphone.

Surely Dwayne is far to affluent to feck about with all this fuss and bother just to make a couple of hundred quid on the resale value for a phone that doesn\'t work ? I was under the impression he makes at least £500 in the time it takes him to leave his desk and take a piss (between posting on here).
