i first saw them on e-bay selling about 2 months ago?
They wouldn't have been real as the top reviewers only got their hands on one about week before release and most reviewers had to wait until release day for one.
quite probably then if they only came out 5 days ago.
when i first saw them for sale they were selling for a lot of money by people who had strong f/b.
you never know though how genuine ebay ads are i spose.
Unless you buy the 4GB model.

Chinese fakes.
Doesn't remove the fact its missing an expansion slot, meaning that when that 8GB is full - or fails - you're f***ed. Also, the expansion slots on most similarly priced phones are SDIO capable and can be used to add GPS, additional connectivity, etc.

I'm amazed you're still bothering to try and defend major, physical failings in the design. This isn't a software issue, its a very important missing bit of HARDWARE.

1) The Iphone will be unlocked within a week - bet ya! - so it will work in one week in this country

Running up insane roaming charges on an AT&T Wireless account in the US, though.
Two year contract on that and all - willing to pay through the arse for the phone, through the arse for the contract, and all to get a featureless phone a few months early?

But they're selling it on being a media player as well as a phone - and I have 22GB on my Zen. If I was to use a phone as a media player, I'd need at least that.
As goes my current phone, it has 140MB or so onboard and a 4GB MMC card. But its not sold as a media player, its sold as a phone - it just happens to have just as capable a media player as the iPhone built in, strangely enough.

Apparently the iPhone is great for the "look Mum, no stylus" aspect, but apart from that it's just a phone with built in MP3 player with no great features.
I'll settle for Sony Ericsson phones for the time being, until someone brings out something totally amazing.

you can get the iPhone unlocked and use it as an iPod and have the WiFi internet..
