I was just adding to your irrelevant post, with a bit of trivia, because I know you love it, babes.

I am not going to join in, in your anti tory love-ins.

Why waste my time???

I bet you have separate folders in your YouTube account on every frontbencher.

Go on, give us a screenshot.

my current favourites are all the ones with top Tories in cahoots with the Russians, bought off with dirty russian money and funded by Russian Oligarchs, even your hero took Russian money to play tennis and put a Russian in the house of Lords. Conservative traitors

Honestly, ignore. He’s going for the Bear Pit. We must be wiser.

Of course, this won't go bearpit, the lefties wouldn't let it.

If I started it would be fast-tracked to the pit, I just go straight to the pit and cut out the middle men, kind and considerate, i'd say.

Sir Jackie did that? I hadn't realised he played tennis.

Have you any proof???

You're getting closer to reclaiming your trivia and misinformation crown but you're not quite there yet; another go might just swing it for you. Go for it!

Lever it out son.

Made me chuckle :lolol:

In fairness to the person I had a go at for not understanding the mood of the thread, that's all I meant. He frequently doesn't 'read' a mood, and as someone who struggles with this myself, for previously stated reasons, I have some sympathy. When it happens one can find one's self totally baffled by the negative reaction. I made a joke a year ago that was only ever going to be funny to those who remember a particular episode of 'Bottom', and got absolutely bollocked for it, resprospectively rightly so.

Anyway....more important things to worry about today I fear.

We all misread the mood sometimes; some do it a lot.

Some of us can't help it.

Anyway, I have discussed all this before so I'll leave it there

We've all been there and let they are who without sin cast the first stone

But do you not think that if, on every single post you make you are an embarrassing trolling arse, and you continually get banned from NSC time and time again, you may think 'I know I have a diagnosed medical condition' but maybe I'm really a complete **** and that could be why I keep getting banned

If the way your mind works makes you think that you're not being an arse, maybe not.

It took me till my early 60s to find out that I can cause extreme offense quite unintentionally (not jusr on NSC). Someone once posted a long line of quotes of mine from NSC and, out of context, I was shocked. And I have been on several 'disciplinaries' for upsetting people with anything from deliberate vituperation to (what I thought) was an innocent joke.

I try to be more careful these days. But I don't always succeed because I don't always realise what I've done. And I'm sure I'm far from unique.

I can generally get by because I have views that resonate with a lot of people. However I can understand quite easily that those who perhaps have a different political or social outlook, and at the same time don't realize that their mental arrangements are a little unusual (I'm talking about something nebulous yet quite specific here) may find they are in perpetual conflict.

It may be worth thinking about this before giving certain people their regular kicking. That may sound like rank hypocrisy from me but, as I said, I'm still learning, and I won't even pretend to be on a curve let alone on the steep bit of it. PM me if I appear to be being obtuse.

My post was definitely not about you. although I can understand how after a lot of years of being misinterpreted you may think it was.

My post was about a particular individual who is a consistent arse on every post, going over the same sorry ground again and again and who you seem to be defending, on account that he may have some issues. I think that, regardless of issues he is a **** and we'll have to agree to disagree on the particular individual I thought we were talking about. (It just shows how easily the written word can be misinterpreted). Similarly to our views on FPTP/Proportional representation , where we do genuinely disagree

Sorry for leaping in here.

I try (although I don't always succeed) to focus exclusively on the arguments (or lack of them) proffered by people.

We don't know each other so it shouldn't be right to 'give certain people a kicking'; but kicking their ill thought out and/or poorly argued pronouncements is a different matter altogether and I really think we have to call them out. I would expect anyone with an opposing view to do the same with any loose unsubstantiated comments I make.

It isn't meant to be personal and we are all on this site because of a love for our club - so we have something that unites us at least!

I read the detail. Are you denying that Boris Johnson is your hero? :D

Boris and hero have never aligned with me, come to that no MP could be a hero of mine, there is too much room for error within their work and too many people ready to trash them, this would always deflate the hero to just well respected for their efforts from me.

Do you have a hero MP or ex prime minister???

No, although the one who achieved the most, imo, is Aneurin Bevan.
