[Politics] Labour Leader would step down.

Based on your (comically over the top) "beliefs" when I insulted Diane Abbott, how do you feel about the erstwhile HWT calling her a "witch"? I must've missed your indignant reply.

Do your own dirty work. Report it.

The man stated in Parliament that BoJo should resign purely on the accusations.

Starmer had no choice.

This is all a big.punt by Labour, I have no idea which way it will turn out.

Well... you got that right at least!

Well where's your money, are they staying or going for more electable charisma?

Why on earth would I (or anyone else for that matter) play an infantile guessing game with you? Please tell me if you can.......

..and great that you give the thumbs up for that. I am glad you recognise it's an idiotic suggestion; you are certainly good at making them!

Isn't the context of this though that Boris was saying there wasn't a gathering, before photos came out of him at gatherings....and videos of his colleagues laughing about the parties they had. By the time the investigations were launched, we already had seen he had lied on several fronts.

Whereas Starmer has never denied he was at an office and had a beer.

If the guilty verdict should happen, the 'I thought it was OK' defence holds no water.

For me the pointless sexing up of the WMD document when it was already legal to go to war was a mistake (but was it his or Campbell's?). But it was something that angered the hard left, and it was a mendacious element of the right that stoked the flames, even though they (indeed any party) would have supported Bush. Only Corbyn, among modern British leaders, was against. That says it all really.

Blair has also made a massive load of cash on the back of his cachet. Meanwhile, Cameron, who has attempted the same, receives no criticism. I thought that making money was not only legitimate but the responsible thing to do

I am convinced that most of the Blair hatred comes from the hard left and, as is typical with the hard left, they are simply being run as lackies for the right by doing so. (If I were a committed tory I would perhaps wish to see the Blair reputation tarnished, so it is mainly the cut and thrust of politics I guess). I remember one of my brothers, the lefty, claiming he would rather vote tory than Blair. Ok.....mate

It is nice to see that Blair has done some other decent things, though, and without doing so to steal fame and kudos. A hard concept with which to grapple in todays era.

You’re correct on everything here imho.

Iraq was the hard left’s gotcha moment.

You’ve nailed this particular issue throughout. Many or most of his UK critics from all directions are either hypocrites who at the time wanted Saddam crushed militarily, or they were out to settle hard left scores more than truly caring about a lack of WMD or creating an environment for ISIS to form.

By saying he will resign, if found to have broken the law, he won’t be offering any defence. He is a QC and been head of the CPS, so he knows what he’s doing.
The police are looking at their previous investigation to see if they got it wrong.

Probably should, but the 'whataboutery' doesn't address the thread title.

Nothing to do with 'whataboutery'. You are speculating and I am putting your speculation into context. Have another go.

As always thanks for the thumbs up although a written endorsement would be braver. Now have another go.

Yes....thats why he said he'll resign....unlike the PM

Turning into playground stuff, 'well he didn't so I shouldn't'.

We must look fantastic upon the world stage.

I said it before and got lambasted, but the whole thing is a joke and needs to be reassessed.

All pigs in the trough.

Labour are going nowhere with him at the helm, of the 67.25 million on this island, only Frank Lampard has less charisma/personality. Time to bin him off regardless of the outcome.

This is what I fail to understand, for me I could not give a sh!t if a prime minister has an engaging personality or not. I am more concerned if they have integrity and will run the country for the benefit of the population. I have no plans to go out for a drink with him so why would I care if he’s not a laugh a minute. I seem to be in a minority, because people prefer someone who quotes cr@p and can’t brush their hair cos ‘es a bit of a lad, which he is not he is an over privilege *rick.
