Who scored 9 goals in the championship. He will get about 15 in league 1

Do you really think he could do it now though? I can't honestly say that I think he could. Mind you, cometh the hour..

I'm sorry but in this case, it seems Virgo may be.

He got 5 starts or so in centre mid and as soon as that didn't work out, got a start at right back in Whings place.

5 games, unbeaten, perfect away record. That's 'working out' OK I'd say. Adams has always had a 'keep the shirt' policy if you get a result, I don't expect him to change now when results-wise, we're in promotion form.

Murray is the sort of striker who conserves his energy. He won't chase hopeless causes like Hart, Virgo or Revell. But when the ball comes to him he won't be knackered either.

You can't have watched the Orient game because I counted at least three occasions when he chased back and actually ended up putting a tackle in near our full-back.

Just because someone does not go running around for 90 minutes does not mean they are lazy and don't care. It means they are sensible.

Murray has a superb touch, decent awareness, an eye for goal and a good partnership with Forster.

Our problems this season have all eminated from the right side of the team as Cox does not drop back to help Whing, Elphick does not get across to cover Whing so if he ventures forward we are exposed. Every team we have played this season has attacked us on their left and obviously sussed out our weakness with their scouts looking at our matches before playing us.

Cobblers. "Problems this season ??" How many goals have we let in ?
If anything, we've been weaker down our left, what with Richards and Livermore being chopped and changed in McLeods absence. Teams have no more attacked us down the left as they have the right or through the middle - and we HAVE only conceded once in open play ! To say teams are "targetting" us down our right side is nonsense. I've seen no evidence of this whatsoever.

The two places i do not want to see Virgo as I do not think that he is any good in either is up front or central midfield.

I do not care if Murray doesnt score another goal provided he continues to assist Forster to get a lot more

Get of your soap box you plonker.Forster puts in 100% work rate.Lazy bones on the other hand,i'll drive him to Preston myself.

Ask Forster who he'd rather have alongside him then.
They combined to great effect last season, and they're doing it again this season. Just because murray isn't running round like a headless chicken (Revell-style) you want him out ? Ridiculous.

Forster and murray will be one of the most prolific partnerships in this division. If you can't recognise that, then I dunno WHAT you are watching.

You obviously didnt watch the games vs Bristol Rovers and Orient where virtually every attack was down our right. In tghe orient game MA eventually realised this and took Whing off putting Virgo back to right back and that then gave us our best spell with Virgo releasing Robinson, the fact that Robinson did very little with it on most occassions was just unfortunate.

I just think that an Albion striker who expects the ball to come to him is going to be a LONG time waiting

Put it this way, in our position, I would FAR rather have two Forsters in the side than two Murrays. And currently, no they DON'T complement each other. One slogs his guts all over the pitch out for scant reward, the other wafts around on scented air, disconsolate that the ball doesn't arrive at his feet. At this level, with this level of service, that's just not enough. Sorry.

Our whole team was a f***ing disgrace. He was no worse than any of the others from the midfield onwards.

Robinson can go like shit off a shovel. If running fast is the criteria, would you prefer him up front instead ?

I've already answered it Easy.I want Virgo up there untill a replacement is found for Murray.

I have a feeling Doug Livermore will shine in CM on saturday. If Thomson has yet another stinker then Virgs could well be back in CM at his expense

Me 2. I think Livermore will start showing what he can do.

The team that played against Orient once Cox was on for Virgo is the team i'm hoping start on Saturday.
