Is somebody handing the Gold bars round? I've just made a cuppa & would love one if those lil' creamy tinkers, if there's any left. Thanking you in advance!

* Sorry folks, carry on..*

its amazing that people will slag off people who have served their country and stick up for those who glorify the people who bombed their home town. you are the ones that need your bumps felt.

FWY: Where has anyone slagged of a person for serving their country ?
And who has glorified IRA terrorism ?

Herr Bushy: yet again words are twisted, he didnt say "for serving their country" he said "who has served their country", there is a difference , and completely changes the meaning of the statement, but you knew that already didnt you ?

FWY: Oh ok I see, just because someone has served their country they are above criticism ?

Herr Bushy: where has anyone said that?I think it you that's talking bollocks, don't you ?

Keep up love.

Sorry to burst your self satisfied bubble , but I'll repeat yet again, where has anyone said that because someone has served their country they are above criticism ? Spanish simply pointed out the haste with which some people on here will criticise someone who has served while glorifying the people who blew up the grand hotel , and if you think that posting "up the republic " isn't gloryfying the ira then you're a bigger prick than I already thought you were .

With advance apologies for not bothering to read this thread through, it always amuses me when Brits get all hot under the collar about the IRA etc. If you were patriotic, and born over there, you'd have joined the IRA, I know I would have.

hahaha the David Copeland Defence, as its known.

See, thats exactly the point. It really isn't. There is a neighboring country called the Republic of Ireland. It has been such for over 60 years now. It has a plucky football team who have overachieved in the last couple of decades (often thanks to appealing to players within the diaspora, most notably England), and have won many fans around the world.

You should look at a map. Its right on there. Given that you love Britain so much, I'd have thought you'd have noticed it being there.

Facts on annual Orange marches each summer throughout Northern Ireland:

Number of marches: 3000+

Number of marches seen as "potential flashpoints" by PSNI: 12

Just to put it in perspective. The media have hyped up what is, apart from Drumcree, a non-event

Oh ok, only TWELVE of them are inflamatory and threats to the peace, i AM sorry...

Oui, c'est ce que j'aime en moi, enfin une des choses que j'aime, le don de pouvoir dire Up the Republic! par exemple, ou Chérie!

Yes, that's what I like about me, at least one of the things, that I can say Up the Republic! for example, or Sweetheart!
