See, thats exactly the point. It really isn't. There is a neighboring country called the Republic of Ireland. It has been such for over 60 years now.
You should look at a map. Its right on there. Given that you love Britain so much, I'd have thought you'd have noticed it being there.

You are a bit of a hippy Cheeky. Ovingdean is the best swimming beach though, good shout. Rottingdean and Saltdean were ruined when they put the new med style groynes in. What was wrong with the old concrete blocks with the steel rods sticking out that maimed people jumping in on a regular basis.

The "day to come" could be the day that the Irish Republic is completed with the unification with the north, peacefully and without any terrorist involvement.

Do I take part in the culture that goes with such beliefs (i.e. coming out with republican slogans/badges etc)? Yes
Do I in any way condone or support terrorism? NO.

Wouldn't it be best if you and/or Bushy actually asked the said poster whether he/she was being pro terrorist in his/her statement or not? Because it seems to me that you both have different opinions as to what the poster actually meant.

That's very noble, but one of the points is, any form of Republicanism is considered sinister by many British people for a lot of reasons. Not least kids blown to bits by cowardly bombers who have been fed a lot of a sentimental nationalist bollocks, the exact same rubbish Nationalists in this country spout, but with added blowing up kids.

You may be the Ghandi of the Falls Road, but 30 odd years of sickening violence in your causes name gives many of us an aversion to it. You, in your wisdom, must understand that.
