Amazed at some of the comments re the open ceremoney, most 'openings' are invitation only and this one is no different. If you read the programme yesterday you will see the reasons why it cannot be an 'open to all'. All I would say is that there should be some special people invited like LB, The Henfield One who have done more than all of us towards getting Falmer and the rest of us who spent years doing various things can just take our chances in the ballot.
Reason number one ... Because there is no parking at Falmer, access to the site will be by bus from Withdean. Parking at Withdean is, in any event, very limited, because of the operation of the shoppers' park and ride service (which is very busy during the run up to Christmas).I've already offered an answer to that - just have a number of time slots throughout the day so that everyone gets to be there at some point. It's not going to take long, so you could easily have a group every hour until everyone is satisfied. Why wouldn't that work?
I think the fact they are organising a ballet is good enough to represent the "real" support.
Everyone DOES have the chance to be there.
Yes but I suspect certain fans will obviously get a ticket no matter what
there are 4 pots, with fans split up in to seeds, super fans will be seeded ONE, STH will be seeded TWO, Blue members seeded THREE, and keyboard warriors seeded FOUR
6 balls will be picked from each velvet bag, and 3 balls from bag ONE cannot be drawn together.
Fair enough, now define the seedings qualification young man.........
keyboard warriors
I think this decision is a complete joke. We've been waiting for this moment for nearly 11 years, and only a handful will see the development underway. What absolutely ridicolous decision. I hope alot of us turn up, screw the damn ballot.

The costs of running a shuttle bus service all day long, without any idea of how many people want to come, would be very high indeed.
