How much of that £200m (€240m) has he actually been able to regularly put in the park? I’d say Minteh and Rutter. Gruda definitely one for the future.

O Reilly hasn’t been fit, Wieffer just when he looked like he might be finding his feet now out, Ferdi out, rest out on loan. Where’s your context in your own conclusion?
Does it matter? One was given resources, one wasn’t. That is the context.

i'm not in denial here - last week exposes rightful questions about the coach and also the players . As does Everton, the other games against the bottom four, the collapses v Wolves and Leicester and Palace. But there's caution in extrapolating the poor tactics for one game - eg: Bournemouth 5-Forest 0 perhaps, ignoring the positives from Villa, Ipswich, United, Arsenal and earlier in the season v City, and also wondering why given how terrible we're supposed to be and a lot of the commentary struggles with any sort of balance now - how come we're 10th and have 34 points with 15 games to go.
We're 10th now but if you take a form table of the last 10 games we're 14th with the two sides we beat below us. Even if you change that to 5, which still includes the two wins, we're 14th and, obviously, our goal difference is dreadful in that because of last week.

And, yes, Forest are top.......

Because we have good players and there’s actually a lot of dross in the league this season. If we weren’t struggling with the things mentioned above we’d be doing a Bouremouth at the very least if not a Forest.
No more excuses now. Nobody is expecting us to win the league.
It’s fairly simple for Fab- he needs to show consistently over the rest of the season he can make the necessary changes to fix the obvious flaws. It’s his job.

I don't disagree, but other than Rutter, none of that £240m has been available to FH on the pitch. As I've said before, Minteh, Weiffer, Ferdi, O'Riley, Gruda have all been out for long, long stretches.

Add to that, I think FH gets that £240m used as a stick with which to beat him when we all know that signing just one perma-injured defender and 15 number 10s was always going to unbalance the squad.
Oh, I totally agree with your second paragraph. I seriously questioned the squad building in the summer, but it’s looking worse by the day now that it’s become clear just how inexperienced some of these players are, and how the positions they play is so similar.

Saying that, whilst those mentioned in the first paragraph have had injuries, apart from Ferdi many of them have had the opportunities to get games. MOR’s been fit for a good while now and isn’t in the side, primarily because we spend most of our time playing with one midfielder and 5 forwards… which I guess links back to your second paragraph.

Do you not think that from March onwards there wasn’t much to play for? That would explain the drop off. Not a very valid excuse but you can see why we dipped end of season. FH has everything to play for, but he’s struggling with it already.
Also, wasn’t it pretty clear RDZ was going by that point?

(Really sad and concerned neutrals are seeing how quickly Dunk is dropping off. It’s gutting)
It really isn't sudden though, is it? I love Dunk as a leader and for all his service to the club. He's a legend, but he's also been poor, or at least well below his standards, since January last year.

It's now over 18 months of steady decline in performance, not helped by a slow creep of minor injuries and rotating partners. He used to go seasons on end without injuries. Looks like age creeps up on the best of us.

Yeah that’s true. He’s had a few injuries and the England stuff really aged him.
He’s been a warrior-he must be mentally and physically spent.

Unfortunately that’s how I, and a couple of fans around me, saw it at the City Ground last Saturday.

I think the squad building needs to be looked at, ultimately have bought the players to fit his style. MOR and Wieffer are the big ones, we've bought a load of midfielders for a manager who says publicly he doesn't play a midfield. Still don't think he's the right man, but I think a lot of other managers would have struggled to balance this team.

Of course you can pick out the salient points that might want to fit a particular agenda.

So I will - there are only 4 points separating 7th and 14th. Crystal Palace have got 3 more points than teams like Man City, Chelsea and Aston Villa - using that as a comparison, are those 3 sides in trouble? Notts Forest are clearly the form side in the Premier League and that table includes their 5-0 tonking at Muff.

For the neutral, the EPL has been fantastic this year with bizarre results that nobody was expecting and the "establishment being challenged" (shame that was FH's soundbyte!)

Last 6 games we are 12th, with the same number of points as Chelsea and 1 less than Villa. That just shows the knee jerking after one bad result - granted the season can still go either way, but that's the point.

I genuinely think the next three games could be make or break for FH. We don’t have to win but if we get blown away in a couple of them I fear a very toxic atmosphere at the Amex. Here’s hoping we are talking about Europe and maybe Wembley again after them. I am not at all convinced that we will be though. I have seen very little to make me enthuse about Fab this season.

Regardless of whether people think Fab is the right man for the job, surely the best outcome for everyone is we win on Saturday and go on a good run and he comes good? So get to the Amex, make your voices heard, let's get a cup run going and see if our league form can pick up.
Remember all of the Fab Out lot (and again I'm by no means convinced) there is absolutely no guarantee that a change in manager will change things for the better - every single appointment is a gamble - so whilst he's here let's actually do some supporting.
