I've seen a reasonable bit of him on the Championship highlights and a few games Derby have been shown. Yes, he has the turning speed of an oil tanker and is very slow, but maybe the club see something else in him?

Never seen him play but he sounds to me to be totally and utterly unsuited to a club looking to be top 10 in the PL. Small, slow and turning circle of a tanker. Anyone know what good attributes he has?

Not vaguely enthused but the club don’t get much wrong. Having said that my Chelsea supporting mate I took to the Everton game thinks Colwill is shit, so one fans great is another’s shit. See Igor comments last season

Ask him what he thinks of Sanchez? Obviously he'll say he's shit.

So nothing uncontroversial there, but still, it's lovely to hear. :lolol:

Think I'm going to trust our recruitment department ahead of Derby's fans!

I've watched him on TV a few times and once in the flesh as I said on here last year earlier in this thread. As I mentioned then, I was really impressed by him. I thought there was something about him and he really stood out at that level. I picked him out before I even knew it was him who we'd been linked with previously. He didn't look like a typical Championship/League One player.

Obviously we don't know how he will adapt to PL football but personally I'm pleased if we are completing the deal this time.

Indeed, he has no idea why Sanchez is their keeper but loves Cucurella and Caicedo….in fact on the drive back from the Amex on Saturday and listening to the Chelsea game on the radio, Sanchez obliged and made his inevitable ricket to give City the lead.

A lot of the Leeds fans said that about Georginio, too, though
Indeed. A friend of mine rated him as a player but thought we had overpaid. Time will tell, but I think in the long term we may have been just about right.

Not sure a slow centre back playing at the bottom of the Championship is what we need. It was obvious when White was on loan at Leeds he was standing out and was pivotal to Leeds promotion. You could see that he'd be able to make that step up. This transfer is Matt Clarke 2.0.

P.s. I haven't seen him play and I'm not a scout, so my opinion is irrelevant.

I think he has got a decent long pass on him.

Ben White was already our player sent out to a Championship club for experience.
