pisses me off no end - been wearing them pre and post surf/windsurfing for years - and now I'm lumped in with chivvy coffee slurping salad dodgers. They are amazingly warm and versatile but sadly everywhere

Yeah but they look daft...

Gonna be a bit controversial but I really like them - esp on ladies - don’t get the outrage

Finally! I spotted a Dryrobe at the Amex yesterday. WSL, a good couple of miles from the beach.

I may have seen a camo one being worn as I walked up to the statium. I just saw a floating Dryrobe text. If so, I guess the wearer had come straight from a swim. Fair play.

Huub has long been the triathletes gear of choice, a passive aggressive reminder that whoever is donning their gear is considerably richer and fitter than you and is without doubt having an Avocado for lunch.

Well, now they've combined the branding and #Teamdryrobewanker. Step forward the Huub dry robe coming to a promenade in Hove sometime soon.

I'm in a pissy mood this morning and felt the need to bounce this three year old thread to slag people for no real reason. International break side effect I guess.

At kids rugby this morning, it's 10 degrees and not raining, yet a good third of parents are waddling about in 'Dryrobes'. They look like bloody idiots. We also couldn't be much further from the coast in rural Berkshire.

Feels a bit better putting that out there.

Ha! Just sitting having a coffee on a bench on the common in TW. I open this thread, look up and see two people I know walking past wearing them. They do look stupid.

No need to apologise. I feel much the same when I see young blokes in smart suits but matched with trousers divorced from the ankles and no socks with slip on loafer like shoes. I'd have snipers on the roof or at the very least a police caution!
