In fairness, he's given an ok symbol and I accept that. There's too much bitching going on and I admit I'm involved in it somewhat eh KeegansHairPiece ? Shall we all drop it now?

I just saw that. I think you should both drop it.

Related, should I unblock V? I quite liked his posts before recent events.

There are a couple I had on ignore during the Brexit bollocks I've now unblocked. We can all be dicks from time to time

You really are a tedious bore. What makes someone who has been here five minutes, will be off again when his pet leaves and hasn't even spent a penny on our club think he can play Captain Hindsight because he's bored?

The comments about disruption at board level were made on various threads by myself and Goldstone1976 because we have both sat on company boards, something you should know since you've been stalking my LinkedIn profile. And they are perfectly valid, The long term aim of getting in a new man and style of play worked a treat but the disruption came within one game of sending us down to The Championship. I appreciate that at the time you were strumming one off to Swansea and couldn't have placed Brighton on a map.

Stop it. Stop it now.

What is equally tediously boring, whether its five minutes or fifty years, is that anytime you dont get what you want/think you are entitled to, you post a lot of nonsense shit year out year in about how the club is not progressing or getting worse or how some staff member or player is shite and so forth - its like a junior / Solid at the back but with a dictionary - and then you have the stomach to call someone like Icy divisive when in reality you are the one who cant handle a loss or a bad spell and immediatly goes berzerk spouting shit about how people should get sacked to left and right. Tedious is the word. And the only thing that pulls you out of the self-entitlement based misery is when you over and over and over again move on to do your personal abuse riddled tirades that you are only able to do because your moderator-immunity.

You have no idea if it was the "disruption" of hiring Ashworth that made the team come within one game of going to the Championship - this is just your assumption and the fact that you've been on a board somewhere gives you no insider understanding of what is or were going on in the club. You have a very toxic internet persona. Some of us are sometimes involved in heated debates but you are always in them. In your opinion, probably because you are opinionated. From another perspective, it is because you are impatient, aggressive, needy and rude, not least towards those involved in turning Brighton to a Premier League club with a 30k+ stadium with no relegations for 15 years and steadily growing and going forward in pretty much every regard... unfortunately none of it is good enough for your clueless, evermore demanding fat ego. Maybe you should follow your passion - flawless people buying golden trophies - in a similar way I followed Potter somewhere where something other than that vanity shit should matter.

I think that just shows how clueless you are.

Without people like me Bloom wouldn't have a club, Potter would still be at Swansea, NSC would be a 50 user DOS operation about a County League side and you'd still be stoned off your nut and aiming to be top of the Comments section instead of doing something useful.

Shows your level of narcissism.

Without you there would still be x thousands people supporting and spending a lot of time and energy on Brighton, only difference is that there would be one less ungrateful dudd panicking over a poor result and demonising various people at the club. There are plenty of thoughtful, grateful and balanced people on here supporting the club for decades - one, two or three TSBs less wouldnt change it.

Either DA is surplus to requirements or GP and most of his little elves are surplus to requirements. Suspect it's the former. One layer of the absurdly top-heavy management structure of BHAFC that could be got rid of and nobody would notice the difference

Wow!

You have no idea what fans did between 1997 and 2009 when Tony Bloom took over from Dick Knight, to keep this club alive.

I'm talking about the fact that some of us invaded the pitch, wrote letters, bought fanzines, turned up at BISA meetings and harassed Bellotti and Archer before you were probably born.

None of that, no club. No Amex. No Potter. No DA.

You support a club and you don't even know their recent history :ffsparr:

I find that incredibly hard to believe if only for the reason the thought of Mr Bloom shelling out big money to someone who's surplus seems unlikely.

As said it's a collaborative effort.
You've got other agendas if you're looking to heap praise on DA.

He does know, he knows full well.

The reason he knows is because he loves, absolutely loves, to push the big red button, just to hoover up the replies.

He did it a couple of weeks ago.

I know that, and I also know that some or even most of those you invaded pitches with are sensible people - you should turn into one. The way you are using it as some kind of justification to frequently and reoccuringly take a piss at some flavour of the month-scapegoat is just unnecessary.

Surely you have to give Swan a bit of a break with regards not knowing our detailed history yet.

We even have young Brightonian fans who weren’t around in those days.

Nonsense.

My son's 14. He knew all about those days by the time he was 10

To be fair, I did all that and I also get pissed off at your kneejerk reaction to a loss or a bad spell when you 'immediatly goes berzerk spouting shit' to quote our Swedish friend.

Just for balance, like.

GAH! That's exactly that LAST thing I was aiming to do. Bloke's far more of a chancer than GP is. At least GP has succeeded in making a silk purse out of a sow's ear of a career, and secured his family's future. Genuinely happy for the guy. DA? Not so much. WAY too many Yes Men more than happy to take the chairman's shilling IMHO

Didnt actually read the thread yesterday when I was chasing for Ashworth threads, but its a hilarious read.

The usual suspects, Dramaboy and so forth, reaching "full moon" conclusions. Not sure if "full moon conclusions" is a concept but it should be... What I mean with it is basically that just because X happens, Y most be true. "It was a full moon yesterday and today I have pain in my knees, therefore the full moon must have caused the pain... and needs to get sacked". And the usual derogatory stuff aimed at TB, calling him naive and crying about his lack of investment. Thatcherian attitudes deeply rooted - money is everything and if a Tony does not have as much as a Sheik, it makes him insufficient.

Full moon conclusions? Does this stem from Swedish?

You're referring to and providing examples of your own specious reasoning.
