I agree - 297 is 50-100 runs too many.

Our batsmen will come out playing their shots by nature, and that actually suits the game situation on this pitch. Their only chance is to play their shots and ride their luck before the ball comes along with the batman's name on it. Hopefully one or two of them can make a big score doing this, but I suspect that even if one does so, it won't be enough.
