If the whole country were as up in arms as you seem to claim, it didnt translate very well at the polls did it?
We will see how well the current economic strategy has gone down with the electorate in due course.

That proves how much you know, or dont know as the case may be, he sold it over 3 years , and as we both know he paid for his economic strategy with the proceeds of the sale as well as huge borrowing and the abolition of ACT on dividends , thus totally and utterly wrecking what was the best funded private pension system in the world.

Why do you need the economy to improve before coming back? For most of us the biggest issue during tough economic times is uncertainty over employment, but teaching is a profession which isn't really affected by this.

No it doesnt because if you knew anything about what I do, and have done, for a living since the mid 1990s you would know that I have worked in the area of fraud investigation for all of that time, much of it in benefit fraud.
Still dont let that get in the way of anything.

The systemic problems that the Labour government had created in the economy, in particular the lack of reserves and the structural deficit, were not exposed properly until after the 2005 election. They were also aided by the Tory party's inability to put themselves forward as a credible alternative.
