I don't think they will. I reckon Corbyn is hoping that a poor/no deal brexit will be disastrous, the tories will have to go and he can step in and use the economic collapse as justification for wealth redistribution and scrapping Trident.

I don't think remains' lies fooled many people (except remainers), so yes, 17M or so still holding up pretty well - many remainers coming round to a 'get on with it' view having seen all the various Westminster attempts to derail the process, hinder the Government and hamstring our negotiators. In other words, most of us 17M still standing firm, quite a few who voted remain getting fed up with the antics of those who lost the referendum.
Now, as I said in my last post, I'm off for now - I'll leave the remainer love-in to you chaps until I get bored again!

I must admit I was pulling your leg about the accordion players and beggars,I'm sure they will stay.I would imagine major growth industries to be space,graphics,new technologies,exploiting new materials like graphene,engineering,and meaningful education.If Thicko is right,lots of customs officers (there is always a first time)

On top of that there's no space at Dover (let alone time) to extend the facilities needed at the Eastern docks that currently process the 500 or so non-EU lorries that are checked each day and held up for over 20 minutes a time and Manston Airport can't be used as an emergency measure because The A256 from Dover (some of which is single carriageway) would grind to a halt very quickly as a result. It'll take years to build what is required elsewhere, not forgetting delays caused by NIMBY and environmental objections. It's a right old mess. Still, I'm sure the 59% of Kent's electorate who voted Leave knew all this 2 years ago.

Given the number of allegedly university educated people posting on here,I'm rather shocked you aren't aware of the on-going research projects between industry and la-la land in nuclear power,materials,aero,space/satellite tech.I suppose it's due to the high numbers of yoghurt knitting and yurt growing degrees in southern universities.Yet again,if you are actually interested,as opposed to just being confrontational,googling British University research might reveal something to you,if you ignore the porno.

How about actually trying to answer his question and add some substance to your point, rather than failing to be funny?

You predict a growth in technological research and cutting-edge engineering.

He's asked you why it should be that these things, that are already happening at our Universities (much of it funded by EU grants, btw) are expected to increase, outside of the EU.

To add to this, here's the questions of the polls posted by [MENTION=12101]Mellotron[/MENTION]. They are not asking a simple question about a second referendum, and they are different questions. Some people, for example, might want Brexit in a form other than a no deal and the deal the government suggests - which the Sky Data poll does not take account of.

I think that pretty much sums it up. We have shot ourselves in the foot and are continuing shooting ourselves in the foot. It's going to get pretty messy nearer the end.

It's probably had as much reasoning and thought as his solution to the UK's car building industry. Ask him any serious question and he'll come up with some ridiculous answer as he's incapable of thinking a through a problem more complex than which way to sit on a toilet seat.

Already dealt with the motor trade stuff-Power Train deal with Germany-most of it transits the Reich anyway.

At this rate, he'll have all the governments outstanding issues resolved by tomorrow lunchtime
