Rather ironic that Brexit is going to succeed in ending a culinary tradition even rationing during the war couldn't kill off.

There's mackerel, they'll be giving it away

Come on JC you can do better than that.

Answer him. How do you feel about the border in the Irish sea? Are you OK with the checks and EU supervision?

Why couldn't we have just been sensible in the first place instead of threatening to break international law and undermining the "oven ready" agreement we'd already signed up to?

And please don't call me the C-word if you respond, that wasn't nice the other week...

Settle down nicko WATFORD zero has gone AWOL apparently unable to explain how he can supposedly monitor other NSC users activity all day long while being out.

If you don't want to be called a #teameu supporting **** stop posting like one

Always expecting answers to questions never answering any ... how rude. I replied to your last question (my preferred Brexit) then asked what sort of EU membership you preferred, no answer, don't you know?

Sorry if you considered me to be rude.

However, I don't think you really answered the question about your preferred Brexit. You seemed to simply reiterate 'out' with no reference to what we should be hoping for/dreading when it all kicks in on January 1. For the record I wanted membership that would allow us to influence/constructively criticise things from the inside rather than voicing xenophobic rants from the outside.
I am genuinely interested in understanding how two grown up people (and fellow Albion supporters) like you and me can look at what is going on in our beloved country and have such different views on it.

Now, do you think Johnston (whom presumably you voted for and support) has a responsibility to be truthful and admit he was wrong to assume there was zero chance of no deal.... and that all in all he must accept that he has a responsibility for misleading us and failing in statecraft?

I said I wanted to leave the EU and all its institutions which is a clearly defined position. Thanks for the answer, in reality, you are happy with a second-tier membership at best then ... where most members head in a direction that you wouldn't support (see ever closer union) but hope to get the occasional opt-out while every treaty signed = more powers taken from the UK heading to Brussels.

Which are the specific powers you want to see returned or not taken away in future?

Thank you for your civil response.

In other words a 'no-deal' Brexit? Why not say so and make it clearer?
What do you mean 'in reality' when referring to the remain option I have mentioned? You seem to suggest that the UK has little/no influence on EU edicts. I disagree - but I am still keen to know exactly what you think (in real terms) we will have by being out of the EU that we couldn't have had by remaining?
Same questions I know but I await satisfactory answers and maybe you can supply them.

I'm so sorry, but the reason I went 'AWOL' is because I have a Family and other priorities (I was personally responsible for Lamb stuffed Aubergine with a goat's cheese crust since you asked) but I'm guessing that isn't something you would understand. Not everyone has their multiple accounts on NSC as the highest priority in their lives. And just because you do not understand how technology works, don't assume others don't. A bit like mods with IP addresses, e-mail accounts etc

And you really shouldn't get so angry and start insulting people for no apparent reason. You are a winner after all

But back to the real point that you seem to have missed on numerous posts

How do you feel about finding out you voted for a Border in the Irish Sea ?

I'm guessing we will get yet another thread of whataboutism and I really can't be arsed. The question is clearly there, Post after post after post

I'll watch the leeds match until you grow up and answer

I suspect a reply as Chicken Run is probably in order now :lolol:

But I thought you implied that mods couldn’t verify multiple accounts?

Nope, numerous countries make trade deals with the EU while not being members or falling under the primary jurisdiction of EU institutions.

In reality, we will not be on the path to ever closer union and we would always have limited influence when the majority want to go in a different direction. Sorry if this is news to you.
