On the Bournemouth forum. States 'Megabucks Brighton looking at Brett and one other'.
Megabucks Brighton...two words seldom heard in the same sentence!

Anyway I think he scored 17 goals last season and was instrumental in helping Bournemouths great escape. Dont know much more, just reporting the rumour.
If Im right you heard it here first!
If Im wrong shoot me!:bigwave:

Pittman sounds like a good prospect though by what Ive just gleaned.

"On 13 March, he was awarded Sky Sports' goal of the week for an effort which saw him dribble from inside his own half, beating three players before scoring."

Not short on confidence by the looks....

May not be so far fetched after all???

The Daily Echo has today reported of interest coming in for some of The Cherries players.

Owner Paul Baker has revealed that some enquiries have been made over unknown members of the playing staff, though rumours of the AFCB Vitals messageboard are that it refers to Brett Pitman and Mark Molesley, two integral parts of Great Escape II.

However, Baker did stress he was not intending of letting any of Eddie's playing staff leave before he sold the club.

He told the Echo:

'There have been one or two expressions of interest but we`re keen to keep the squad together. We`re looking to keep every player... Eddie wants to keep them, I want to keep them and I`m sure potential club purchasers are keen to keep every player we`ve got because they are all great assets for the football club.

Looks like AFC Bournemouth are in deep shit too by the looks. This was posted today and looks like they will have to sell and quick!

"The continuing saga over the Sale of AFC Bournemouth has taken another twist today, as we learn that the only bid for the club has been withdrawn.

The bid, we understand was from the Adam Murray group. As it stands today there are no other offers on the table.

Current Cherries chairman Paul Baker is refusing to be drawn into commenting on the behind the scenes issues affecting the club. However, he does expect to recieve 2 more offers 'imminently'.

Whenever I write stories, I have to try to remain impartial. But you have to question, what the hell is going on at the club?

Debts are mounting, the club are now being petitioned by HMRC for around £300,000 with a further £100,000 owed to revenue.

Wages are late, or not paid in full - despite 2 sell outs at the end of the season.

The PFA has been requested again to cover the shortfall in what the club can deliver, causing more unrest within the squad.

All of these problems are compounded by the fact that season ticket sales for next year have not started yet - meaning no revenue for the club outside of any sponsorship. It would be safe to assume that the money from the half price season tickets sold in December has been absorbed into the running costs of the club."

Im pretty sure he is a striker..
Yeh think you are spot on.

Scored 17 goals and only started 19 league games!
Seems only got a good run when the new manager took over, was overlooked to a certain extent before. (sounds familiar: Harty).
Was leading striker by a mile.
Surely this would be a good signing as back up to NF as he seems the same kind of striker as opposed to say Murray, Owusu (should he sign) or Davies.
