Bollocks, I've just had an extension built by a local company that employed Polish workers, and they were conscientious, polite, hard working and were paid the going rate for the job.

Compared to the last BRITISH plumber I used, they were streets ahead.

The sorry state of the Country at the moment with a recession and the obvious unemployment that goes with it will increase the BNP vote. I am all for jobs for the English man (doesn't matter what skin colour) who works hard and pays his taxes and contributes to the UK and soceity in general.

Sadly, with the down turn of the country the BNP will grow and dangerously have a chance of get some high votes. Didn't Hitler come into power when Germany was in decline and made the Jews look the enemy.

1) Agree that we should be greatful for our comonwelth soilders during the wars as much as just the British. Not forgeting the Polish who joined the airforce once their country was overrun. Many others too. Those were desperate times make no mistake.

2) I never get this 'dispite slavery' thing. Yes slavery was very bad. But, was Britian not the first country in the world to ban it?? Also it was Africans selling Africans, with American/Europeans buying them. Although these are not excuses for it.

3)This is a free country. If someone wants to Vote BNP or try to convince people about the BNP, then they can. How ever wrong they are. I dont like the BNP and will NEVER vote for them. But you have to ask yourself, why are they becoming more popular? And that not everyone thinks the same about things as you do. Its called Democracy.

This is a prime example of what scares me about the followers of the BNP. They have no grasp of logic, reality or history. Recruitment is based on whatever fears an individual may have gained through the Mail, Express or Richard Littlejohn. Unfortunately debate and argument are lost on them. True. However, the racist threads that appear on here on a regular basis clearly cause a lot of offence to many of our users. It's good to have a range of threads on here, especially in a football season as bad as ours has been. But I do question allowing this bile on here, and I don't fully agree with El Pres: I think there is clear racism on here.

No, I've been here only a week or so I do believe me, I'm still learning how this place works. Alot of things are coming clear to me though, alot of people know people on the inside for one.

To throw my two cents into the argument, I'm not bothered who commits the crimes as long as they're caught and caned! Some young white bastard broke into my house toward the end of last year, he resisted arrest INSIDE my conservatory and was given a fair old beating by the coppers. That's all the justice I care about, frankly. Ironically, had I not been awake at 3am playing Football Manager, I wouldn't have heard him trying to get in. And luckily again, the cops were only up the road dealing with an incident in the Grenadier pub, so we were all in luck really!

Thats why they try to have marches on games like Everton - Stoke when they can add to the trrouble.
