It's an 8 minute pb. Enjoy it. Miles 18 to 26 are a lottery at the best of times. You have a 3:15 in you easy. Let's all focus on 2018!

I was running past the village and decided it was a good point to duck out. Thought a week off would recharge enough but not to be. Hope your DNS days are coming to an end.

I bailed at 12 miles. Fooked. No one reason in particular just fatigue after last week. A harsh lesson learnt. Still great to be involved though and enjoyed being part of it.

Good luck all those running tomorrow especially the first timers. I advise going to the toilet before arriving at Preston park to avoid half hour queues for the porta loos. Hope everyone enjoys the day and has a good race Looking forward to Mr Banana pop up snack bar.

Is this the same old man who was regularly beating runners half his age 7 months ago? Think there's life left in the old dog yet

Great run yourself! You took 30 minutes off your pb, that's an astonishing chunk of time. What's next......Brighton of course. This Sunday in bright sunshine. 4 days to go, how's everyone's Maranoia. Should be kicking in now......

Cheers guys. Can't recommend Rome highly enough if anyone is looking for a European race. Take the wife for added kudos, everyone's a winner. Rome rocks

Ran the Rome marathon yesterday. The course ran through the heart of the city statting and finishing at the coliseum. I'd read some quite negative stuff about the event but I found the whole thing really well organised, very friendly and obviously stunning scenery. Proper aid stations too about...

I may have slightly exaggerated my expected finish time to get me in the first wave. It will almost certainly be a slowish start and gradually get faster as the field spreads out. I'm also massively looking forward to huge Italian food carb loading for the 48 hours prior as fly out on the...

Haven't run it before but also running it. From what I've read it's flat and fast provided you get near the front. Well supported with plenty of aid stations and very scenic as runs through the heart of the city. Advice is to be wary of the cobbled streets so a decent pair of shoes is a must...

Jerusalem sounds tough, that's a fantastic achievement well done. Numbers 4 and 5 coming up for me in April both on nice flat courses

    McLaren.....next to go ?

Could work in our favour if he does go. New manager bounce with Huddersfield to play in 4 weeks.

Also ran Worthing and also disappointed with my time. 43:35 was about a minute slower than I was hoping for. I got to the 5k turn and knew I had nothing left in the tank. Probably shouldn't have done a parkrun yesterday but just had the urge to get out there. Good to see big nuts and Ninja...

20:13 park run this morning. Looking forward to Worthing 10 tomorrow where the rain is supposed to stop around 9 ish followed by an overcast day with light winds forecast. Sounds ideal running weather. Good luck Greg Bobkin and any others running the Moleyman tomorrow .

Definitely recommend Hastings - probably the pick of the 'town' HMs in Sussex - nice route and well supported. Steady climb in the first half followed by a long 'bombing it down hill' section before finishing along the sea front. PB course for me. Agree with this. One of last years highlights...
