Bevendean in 25 minutes is still a tough workout. I can't make it but will be interested to hear how you get on. Enjoy the Amex, sounds too good to miss
I feel your pain. First run on Saturday after 2 weeks on a cross trainer with a view of the gyms car park. Was back on it today as still a bit sore but hopefully my car park days are coming to an end. I now recognise most of the m3/a4/jaguar xf drivers who feel the need to park in the disabled...
Good NSC turnout at Peachaven today. The late, the old and the wounded came out for this one ( one or two fall into both categories). Quite a challenging course but can see this becoming popular. 21:47 for me with Gary Nelson's teacher chasing me down. 3rd in age group.
Rome didn't make things any better but Worthing did the damage. It's been really slow to get better and had a few false dawns which have set me back but now sticking to the cross trainer till things improve. I'm supposed to be running the Wealdon Way ultra on the 28th but may need a Russian...

That's a bold plan. Looks like we will have our own 17minute runner to fill the shoes of the £2 Arena thief. Interesting your plan seems to be more gym and cardio work, that approach seems to be working miracles for you.
Not sure I'm going to enter London this year as it feels like going for parole at Shawshank Redemption. Rejected.
Will be good to see you take on a marathon. If you can convert your existing pace to 26 miles you'll get a cracking time.
Great run, seems the weather was better than forecast. I was hoping to take part after running the half last year but not to be. Hope to finally go the distance next year. What event are you tapering for?
That's a great time on a tough coarse. Only run it once myself as it's location and geography make others more appealing. I do remember enjoying the downhill towards the finish. Offers something very different from the others in town. All very friendly and personal as so few competitors but 32...
