Perhaps the names you mention and a few others on here have been around long enough to understand some of the realities we face, not just in the football club but in life as well.
I don't like some of the things that are happening to the Albion but I do feel that at the present time the...
Surely it is also good business to atract new customers? If you ignore that you will also go out of business!
I really don't care if new fans went to West Ham, I just hope they become regular fans and fill the empty seats at Withdean. Just maybe they are the STHs of the future.
Surely wouldn't be allowed to fly very low would it? I may be wrong but I thought all aircraft were supposed to fly at at least 500 feet over built up areas. The view from 500 feet would be crap, pretty much like the Hove end at Withdean!
The decision by Wolves is pretty crap though, once...
To be honest, if I was going to introduce a newcomer to the Albion, I'd far rather it was at a big away game with atmosphere than a dreary match at a wet and windy Withdean.
Much as I would have liked to go to West Ham, I've got no problem with new supporters going, hopefully they'll get...
Always used to stop off for a few beers in the Sandrock on the way to the Goldstone. The landlord was a good bloke, had to be to put up with us lot!
Saturdays just ain't the same anymore, no TISWAS, no Sandrock and no Goldstone.
Interesting that this argument never arose in 1983 when we went to Liverpool and paid on the gate. Can you imagine what a nightmare a game against them would be like these days?
I made this suggestion in another thread a couple of weeks back. I've got no problem with STH having priority BUT, in my opinion, regular away fans and those that buy individual tickets for each home match have just as much right to tickets for big games.
Why not make it simple, one point for...
I wonder how many black players approaching retirement actually take their coaching badges? Just maybe they don't want to be managers, I can't ever recall us turning black managers down in favour of white ones. If they don't apply they won't get the job!
Our original allocation was 1,300, which presumably is the capacity of the covered stand. As half a dozen overflowed in to the South stand I would say it must be 1,306!
If there's 5,000 tickets, half going to STH and half to AMS, which was the criterea set up after the Spurs game, then obviously the first 2,500 STH and the first 2,500 AMS to apply will get tickets, with first priority to Milwall stubs. We all knew the rules from the start.
Stands to reason...
