I used to drive down from East Grinstead in those days, we usually had beer and lunch in the Sandrock at Ditchling before staggering into the ground at the last possible moment.
Sorry, who are those people, has anyone outside of Sarf London heard of them? Hardly household names like Gerry Ryan, Peter O'Sullivan, Tony Towner and Teddy Maybank are they?
That's not what I said. There's plenty of great sportsmen who I get a great deal of enjoyment watching. If for example Palace had a great player (unlikely I know), I would quite possibly admire his skills but I wouldn't become a Palace fan!
Nope, afraid I don't get it, I'm English so support English sport, not Scottish, Welsh or Irish. I always put English on forms where it asks for nationality, never British. My country is England, nowhere else!
How many Scots turn out at Wimbledon to support Henman? Not many I wouldn't think. A Scots man would rarely if ever support an English player or team. It's not my country so why support him?
I wouldn't support a Frenchman so why support a Scot if I'm English.
My 8 year old son is really made up because Gary Stevens went in to his school last week. Apparently took in his Albion Cup Final shirt as well as Spurs and England ones, well done Gary.
Apparently Gary runs a soccer school in Cranbrook, just wondering if it's connected with the Albion...

Carphone warehouse are laughing, only the few sad bastards that actually watch Big Brother would have known they were sponsoring it, now everyone does. Very clever move to save money on advertising and get even wider publicity for free, even the BBC...
