Don't start using common sense! That would be wonderful for the keener fans of Prem clubs who want to see the youngsters on the fringes. Would also make going to games better value if you were to see two games for the price of one. The only problem I can see is perhaps the pitches would be a...
I think a mix up between the two of them led to a corner at the Stretford End, can't remember which one threw the first punch but it was quite amusing! I don't think Eric played for the Albion again, although I could be wrong. Personally I always prefered him to Moseley but we were lucky...
When I was at primary school I used to "support" Man United (I was born in 1957 so i suppose the Munich crash and Busby babes influenced me. Switched to West Ham because of Moore, Peters and Hurst after the World Cup. In those days (living in East Grinstead) I'd never heard of Brighton! Some...
Very good point. The daily carnage on our roads is virtually ignored yet rail accidents are very high profile. Every rail accident is thoroughly investigated, the RAIB already have an initial report issued. The full report in due course will inevitably contain several action points to make...
It would have been Battle of Britain Class Tangmere on a tour from East Croydon to Bristol and return. If you want to see it pass on the return trip this evening, it's due to go through Worthing, Hove, Preston Park and up the main line to Croydon. Timings here.
I don't know if the petition starter is an NSC poster but I guess it's quite likely given that it's an online petition. Can I make a suggestion to anyone who is thinking of starting a petition or any other sort of Falmer campaign?
Please either post it on here so that the FFA posters on here...
Just out of interest, what is Simon Jordan's history before he bought Palace, was he a lifelong fan that regularly stood on the terraces as a boy or did he develop a sudden liking for the club when it became available to buy?
So the official stance is that we let the petition sit there with a couple of hundred signatures, looking like no-one cares? It may not have been a great idea to start it but surely leaving it as it currently stands does us no favours at all.
That may well be true BUT as it's hosted on the No 10 website, it's effectively already been sent and is definately in the public domain. If people stop signing it now it'll look even worse! It's already over the 100 sigs which means it will get read by No 10 officials.
Setting up the petition...
Re: Re: Falmer Petition to PM
As it's hosted on the No 10 website, it already is sent to the PM surely? I suggest we all sign it and get the numbers up as high as possible. It can't do us any harm.
This one http://www.petitiononline.com/Falmer/petition.html which I started a while back, I...
I''ve still got a copy of that Argus supplement, you won't be finding mine on ebay though, far too valuable for me to sell it! I'd like to know how much it fetches though.
