To me he doesn't seem to have been the same player since Coppell left. I remember when he rejected QPR he said that Coppell was the only manager he wanted to play for. I've never been convinced Leon and McGhee get on.

He was bought for the long run and think he'll do a good job. He is keen and eager to learn. It would be interesting to see how he plays alongside a target man.

Can Leon Knight actually leave for nothing if his contract runs out? I was under the impression that because he was under 24 we would still get a fee for him (based on a tribunal). That was the position with Steven Hunt when we tried to sign him from Brentford. Can anyone confirm this?

Agreed. He as undoubted talent but his attitude is questionable. It was interesting that on Sky before the game the pundits said that Leon Knight can be as good "as he wants to be". ie suggesting it was only his attitude preventing him from being a better player.
