nope, was tactical, kept getting pushed off the ball. mcphee was there to hold the ball up more with virgo and it paid off. and it also has a few minor injuries (knight that is)

Maybe worth starting off with Leon on the bench at some point soon and giving Molango the first hour. That way we'd get the benefit of two players with something to prove.

What about Mcphee for the first hour? He will have something to prove too. Maybe Leon should bulk up too, he's not exactly skinny but needs to be stronger.

Leon has been terrible since last Xmas, I think hes only scored 2 from open play in all that time. Looks well sjort of the requiired standard, unfortunately I think 90% of his problem is his awful attitude.

You could suggest a run out in the reserves to get a bit of confidence and score a couple of goals but I don't think a Leon would see it that way. It must be hurting that Virgo can't stop scoring and he hasn't really come close.

It has to be said (and I take no pleasure in this) that so far he hasn't looked up to playing in this division. He was lucky not to get a booking today as he had several dubious 'falling over' incidents.

I agree with people above that its down to attitude, or maybe it might be a degree of arrogance. He should not get a guaranteed first team place - he should have to work for it like everyone else.

To me he doesn't seem to have been the same player since Coppell left. I remember when he rejected QPR he said that Coppell was the only manager he wanted to play for. I've never been convinced Leon and McGhee get on.

If he doesn't want to play for us and give 100% then as far as I'm concerned, we're better off without him. His goals have dried up and his attitude sucks-drop him until he smartens up. We can survive without him-can he survive without us? Somehow, on current form, I doubt it!

Leon-This was your big chance to prove to Chelsea that they were wrong-it's looking like they knew what they were doing after all....

I'm frankly getting very bored with his continual falling over. Every ref knows him by now and his antics impress no one.

The only thing is that other clubs must have sussed him out by now and his value is probably a fraction of what it was this time last year.

I thought he was a bit unlucky to be taken off, in that he was little worse than other players, but I can understand what McGhee was trying to do, and it worked. He really has to get over his ego, work his socks off like he can, and believe in himself. He only needs a bit of luck to score, and I still believe he'll come good.

Leon has looked out of sorts so far and the amount of times he falls over with the slightest nudge suggests to me that he is going to struggle with the step up in class!!
