Good 1st day but early doors.

Normally the Yanks are better at the singles.

Some of the US performances were "inert" to say the least today so they have it all to prove.

A great day for Europe.

Mickelson's tee shot on the 18th summed the day up for the yanks quite well :lolol: :lolol:

I'd drop Tiger for Tomorrows matches if I were Sutton as he's not a team player and is generally a right miserable bastard - must be a nightmare to play with.

He won't drop him for fear of backlash but you are right Tiger is no team player.

There is an 'I' in Tiger but not in Team!

Heard an interview with Woods before the matches started

Reporter "Why do you think your Ryder cup record is so poor"?

Woods "How many Ryder cup points did Jack Nicklaus win?" (it was 18.5 out of 28 actually fellow trainspotters)

Reporter "No idea"

Woods "How many Majors did Nicklaus win?"

Reporter "18"

Woods "There's your answer then"

Woods clearly does not give a shit about the Ryder cup, he is not being paid for it and clearly resents giving up his precious time for the cause. Miserable tosser.

Reckon we could be bashing the yanks again this afternoon. Garcia and Westwood should take care of DiMarco and Haas. Clarke and Poulter could be dynamite and Tiger is playing shite as is Riley. Casey and Howell have got a good draw with Furyk and Campbell as both are way out of form at the moment. Monty and Paddy will win whoever they play against.

That will be 4-0 then :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

Europe...Europe....Europe :clap2: :clap2:
