I was at a meeting last week, run by the Uni's and the Albion in the Community and for local groups from the East Brighton area.
Nearly all thought the stadium was good but those closest, in Moulsecoomb & Coldean, had obvious concerns over parking & traffic as well as noisey fans after evening...
Meanwhile it seems quite funny that nobody takes any notice of those who have chosen to camp out on a massive roundabout (Victoria Gardens) in the centre of Brighton in the cold, wind and rain.
Well worth a bounce.
I saw a snippet of this on the news this morning. She was shot, at close range, in the head and the bullit went straight through. It's truly amazing that she survived and to see her and her heroric efforts to learn to walk, talk and live again is just fantastic.
She will...
Leatherhead 0-1.
The previous season we had been tonked at home by Walton & H but this cup tie gave us a chance to really thrash some non league minow and help erase the embarressment of the year before.
Albion had been doing prety well at home and 20,000 turned up only to see another abject...
I love the place and am so proud that, at long last, Brighton & Hove has a stadium befitting a City of our size.
I reckon a fair number of those on Thursday ame to see the stadium more than the match and, from people I've spoken to, they were all very impressed and want to go again.
I suppose...
I managed to get a few people there from work who were more keen to see the Amex than the footie. All very impressed and want to go again.
And as for all those kids, it was great. Does make you mad though for all those years when Sussex kids have been denied a place befitting of proper football.
As others have said, a mighty "Wel Done" and fantastic news for you & your family.
I bet the odd Albion defeat is just a mere piffling issue for you now, as it should be. It's good to see the bigger picture and enjoy what we have.
Virgin mail is really pissing me off. You type loads, look up to the screen only to find it frozen.
The whole mail layout is crap too, must get around to changing but then there's all those contacts etc.
It's been mentioned before and it does seem that the club keeps some tickets back (as comps?) which do not get used.
Ok, in the great scheme of things the money may not be much but these empties are denying others that want to go.
Then there's that caving film where a group of potholing girls get lost underground and there are some nasties after them. I think the scary bit comes from them being stuck underground with no way yout and no one who'll save them.
Yep, Pat Sawards recently promoted side were struggling to come to terms with a higher level and were drawing quite a few games. I could be wrong but I think we may have been 2 up in this game but o finished level on a dull, grey & damp day.
After that came a 12 game losing run and it was Jan...
My heart goes out to the brave souls camping opposite the King & Queen. I don't know quite why they are doing it but it's for the 99% of us who ae not in the other 1% and I really appreciate them doing this for me so I don't have to leave my warm room to sit on the muddy grass.
Thank you, guys...
