I received a delivery at the shop at approx 11.11 this morning (SA time), so I took great delight in putting 11/11/11 11:11 on the delivery note. How exciting!

I did have to chuckle this morning when Daybreak felt teh need to point out how rare this is. Apparently it only happens ONCE every HUNDRED years! Wow, who would have thought? I just don't know how you begin to work things like that out.

I was out a couple of weeks ago with a group of friends who were astounded that if they added the year they were born (minus the 19 bit) to the age they will be on their birthday this year, it came to 111.


They didn't seem to realise that including the 19 would make it the year they were born + how many years they've been alive = the year we're in now, 2011.
