so many happy faces

Great to see so many mini fans at the amex last night, not a proper atmo but they all seem to love it and memories of a first footie match must have been given to many! Watching a young footie team leaving the stadium all saying goodbye to the steward and waving to him as they went!:D Games like this are the showcase of what we have lets get those extra seats in so new fans can sample the(product) and value the future lifelong albion fans please! It aint no private club!:moo:

Couldn't agree more - a great evening. I was as proud as punch that England had chosen to play at OUR great new stadium. Popped my pie cherry with a fantastic Chicken Balti pie and had two very happy kids ( albiet tired ) at the end of the evening.

Nice to have a thread that isn't about moaning !

Blimey RotR ! 100% spot-on. Could not have put it better :)

Just think though................... you could have saved that 50p and invested it towards the cost of an away game. Opportunity missed there!

I managed to get a few people there from work who were more keen to see the Amex than the footie. All very impressed and want to go again.

And as for all those kids, it was great. Does make you mad though for all those years when Sussex kids have been denied a place befitting of proper football.

Took my 9 year old girl there last night, was her first match and she absolutely loved it, The stewards were great, she was stopped as we first entered the north stand asked her name the given a packet of crisps, that was it she loved the place wanted to get her coat off as soon as we got out there to show off her new Brighton top. joined in with the banter with my mates then spent 2 hrs once we got home wanting to know everything Brighton, got her a ticket for the Burnley game, can`t wait myself now to take her so she can get a real taste of the Brighton atmosphere..

Wonderful story! The ticket pricing really was a master stroke by the club....thousands of young future Albion fans in the making, quality.
