One thing is for sure, we NEED Forster. His contract should have been sorted out in the summer never mind mid bloody season, then we wouldn't be in this mess. He is our top scorer, has a proven track record and despite this dodgy knee has played 30 games this season, scored fifteen goals and...
Some of you need to wake up, he is are top scorer, people are being incredibly stupid and naive. How long did it take us to get a player who can score goals like Fozzy? I remember a time when we were stuck with Revell,Savage,Gatting and Robinson as strikers. Bar Glenn Murray the others will not...
Made jesters to the home fans at the Goldstone, he then went onto score and did some kind of back flip thing which led to a few fans running onto the pitch trying to seriously hurt him and i think one succeeded in kicking him. The video is around you tube somewhere.
Yes, but I highly doubt he turned up with a little slip of paper, got on the team bus and gave it to Poyet, sat down and then waited to be chucked off after Poyet had opened his transfer request. Bit surreal if you ask me.
I knew I recognized that name from somewhere. i remember him being shite at home to Stockport and very picky against wycombe. I will certainly look out for him in the future and offer him the appropriate amount of abuse.
Have to say, I thought Tunnicliffe has been quite poor this season, most notable the goal where he let the ball float over his head to Jermain Beckford against Leeds at home.
However, IF he goes out on loan that leaves us with El-Abd for cover or Painter if needed, it would seem a puzzling...
I agree however that is life. The thing is certain posters are using the "older pros" card quite a lot to justify Forster leaving, for getting he is a key part in the team and a loyal servant/club captain.
After double checking obviously as you have stated above there were 7 subs. So what I can gather so far is that Forster has turned up, as he was in the original squad on Thursday, found out he is not in the squad and has been replaced by Hart which is where the "thrown" off story has come from...
Anyone heard that rumor? Received a text from a mate who said he had been chucked off and that's about all I know really, does seems slightly hard to believe although id did count 6 subs today, as opposed to the allowed 7.
Maybe things came to a head this morning between Poyet and Forster but...
Poyet was a mad man as a player, he also seems to have brought those same traits through into his management. He will probably bring us success in his own quirky and weird way however recent decisions have been slightly baffling I.E. the lack of GOOD buys on deadline day, Forster, Carole's deal...
Last two time I have been up there we have lost so hopefully the tide will turn today. Let's get behind Forster, show the club we want him to stay.
If Forster starts I think he may just score, either way I can't see us getting more than a draw.
It is the same thing is it not? Your are making an assumption, saying maybe this happened. Either way Forster isn't soft, the club have left it late again, like we always do.
That we have lost the plot so much we deem it acceptable to just wash our hands with our top goalscorer and carry on? WAKE UP!!! We are in a relegation battle, without Forsters goal we would statistically be bottom, and without him for the rest of the season I reckon we will go down.
He...
Can you be so ignorant and WRONG? When??? has he stated he want's two year's, when the f*** has he thrown the toy's out the pram??? Why would you drop our top bloody scorer???
The fact's, as stated in the Argus:
> He hasn't been offered a deal
> He has asked to be put on the transfer list...
That's EXACTLY what I am saying yet in a different way, I understand. You have come up with an ASSUMPTION that he has been offered a deal when the fact's state he hasn't been offered a deal, one or two years, no negotiations have taken place.
We struggled to convince a non-league player to sign for us, and now everyone thinks yeah we have the money, we can replace him and you just can't.
This disregard all comes from the fact Forster hasn't score since Walsall, which was I believe an unforgivable 3 games ago  Murray hasn't...
Forster has said there is no contract in the offing! Forster is not soft, he knows his age affects the amount of time he get's. At the moment there is no evidence to suggest he has asked for 2 years and there is evidence to suggest he has not been offered anything at all.
Bollocks, bollocks and more bollocks...
I am not being sentimental in the slightest. Face it he is one of our best players, open your eyes, at times he carries the team, 15 goals in 30 games doesn't lie.
How you can compare him to Hinshelwood I will never know:shrug:He is our top scorer, not...
