How are we going to show Poyet and Bloom that the fans want Forster to get a new deal

This is a sodding disgrace.

Forster is not stupid and is highly unlikely to expect more than a 1 year deal.

He also knows he is hardly likely to go elsewhere on 'big' money at his age. The only logical expectation is for him to be offered a 1 year deal on the same terms.

He is scoring goals, has scored goals and has been some of the BEST £75k we have ever spent. He is also a great asset for the future and without him our chances of being in League 2 next season are increased.

If he has not been offered any sort of deal then the club should be ashamed of itself and clarify the situation immediately as this is wrong, wrong and more wrong :censored:

He's bloody ancient and doesn't train regularly because if he did he wouldn't be able to play ....

Read what I posted again. Perhaps Brighton were WILLING to offer a one year contract but Forster's agent said 2 years or nothing. Thus no contract was offered.

We know nothing, so it is wrong to assume that it's the club being inflexible, not Forster's agent.

That's EXACTLY what I am saying yet in a different way, I understand. You have come up with an ASSUMPTION that he has been offered a deal when the fact's state he hasn't been offered a deal, one or two years, no negotiations have taken place.

I'm not trying to assume, I'm saying MAYBE this has happened, as none of us know, and the vast majority are assuming it's 100% the club being inflexible and 0% to do with Forster's agent.

I could be wrong.

Why do you think our chances of being in L2 are increasaed. The transfer window is shut and if its a loan which club can afford his wages in L1?

So he will stay, keep playing and hopefully keep scoring goals. Cos its only by scoring goals that other clubs will want him.

Btw, how do we know that Gus hasn't thought that maybe his legs are going? Over the past few weeks, there maybe is a suggestion that they are.

Sing ing that will tell BLoom and Gus that they know nothing and are wrong ..... nice!!!!
Who's more importnat Bloom and Poyet or Forster ....

Will it tell them that they are wrong? No, does it tell them how the fans feel? Yes
Its longer we are singing we want them out of our club or anything, just reminding them how we feel about one of our best players, nothing wrong with that!!!

It is the same thing is it not? Your are making an assumption, saying maybe this happened. Either way Forster isn't soft, the club have left it late again, like we always do.

I think its the right move, frees up some wages for a younger and quicker player. New season and going for promotion its no time for sentiment and how many strikers do we need

So if the club were offering 1 year take it or leave it then why not GO PUBLIC with that?

There's no shame in only offering 1 year - every club has it's own issues, it would be understandable for a bloke who's been injured a fair bit in his career.

The only WORSE scenario than this is if he had already left.

And apart from anything else, having Forster here is a signal to other decent, ageing players that it's OK at the Albion.
