I really, really want him to sign long term just can't see it happening. He celebrated the goal as if he is really enjoying his time here. If we can get him on loan to the end of the season I think we have done well there.
Yet again thought the ref had a crap game. He was poor for both teams that El-abd decision was ridiculous, also people around me went mental when a similar decision was made agaisnt LuaLua but I didn't see it.
Agree with most of that other than the fact that Dicker was a part of the successful side last Saturday as well, so can kind of see the point being put across by the previous poster. If anything would be that Sparrow shouldn't have started.
Didn't think he had the greatest first half, but neither did any of the team really. Second half would agree that Bennett played well. Top performance from the back 4 today. LuaLua, well what more needs to be said about this player than... Flair. Promising times for us Brighton fans, roll on...
Charlton last year was briliant. Somehow I don't see the atmosphere being as great due to being a saturday, hope to be proved wrong. Night games always have that unique aspect to them, will still be there nonetheless. :albion1:
I don't really listen to the fans phone in that often as i'm usually at the games so hadn't ever realised about him previously supportig Arsenal. When I do listen to the show I find that he irritates the hell out of me, as other people say he thinks his point is the only right view.
My mate, being a West Ham fan, told me about a song they had up at Manc this weekend. After 3-0 down they start singing "let's pretend we scored a goal" followed by celebrations, they did this 3 times over 10 minutes. Then started singing "3-0 and you f*cked it up" thought this was rather clever.
Would agree that the players need to start calling it more. Painter was shouting at Elphick and El-Abd as he was nearly caught in possession as there wasn't any calls that he had a player behind him.
Looked like Elphick thought it was slightly harsh as he was talking to one of their players. I was shocked to see the red card, didn't have a clue what it was for at the time.
Seems that he can do no right in other people's eyes as well. It's all a matter of opinions and today I thought he played really well, he one near to every header today. However i'm one of the fans that actually rate him unlike others so maybe it's a bias view.
