Vegas. We use the word "adore" in this song. Wasn't putting my line forward as a solution but don't get all AA Gill on me when we have invented the second gayest song line in football.
Not sure why a load of plump prepubescent girls were walking past the stand at half time ( spotted a cup of some kind so assumed it was an award for shoplifting) but I thought the one at the back making wanker signs at the Albion fans was a little charmer. Sarf London's finest.
Thought the ref was ok although I agree the first Buckley foul was a booking. Very early so maybe the benefit of the doubt but a booked left back would have made things interesting.
Yes. As we went through the turnstiles. I realised afterwards that I had shown the steward the inside of my wallet not my driving licence but he'd still just waved me through. Think salazar showed the top of a cornflake box and was gaily waved past. But the id think was far more about dissuading...
I'm not doubting for a second that he was terribly injured. Just saying that our first instinctive reaction to Murray falling down in the box was not concern. It was eye rolling. I hated the "let him die" chant. At any stage that was unnecessary once it was clear he wasn't getting up.
I'd like it if the last line didn't reference Murray. We should be looking forwards. Sung it loud last night but end line could be something like "and today he will be scoring even more". More about him and us, not a former player.
Well we thought it was a dive initially from the middle if the Albion fans. Then I thought he was faking an injury to avoid a booking for diving. Crying wolf and all that. Hope he gets better soon (as someone said whilst we were standing outside the ground waiting to go to the station "hope it's...
Your ticket has a seat number. Doesn't matter where you are sitting. If you cause trouble the police will match the seat number on your ticket to the name of the person who bought it and check your ID. If these are not the same, then both will be banned for a year. Really doesn't matter what...
Because of course The Goldstone was always jumping for 90 minutes. There isn't a single instance of the crowd being quiet back then - bloody JCRs have ruined The Amex for the real fans.
The point of the ID thing is to help make sure only real fans go and that if there is trouble, the person with the ticket (which has a seat number and therefore can be linked back to the buyer) is the person who bought the ticket. ID inside and outside the ground - so has little to do with seating.
If you haven't seen this yet, it's worth a view.
Gus' attitude towards the next few weeks is explained too - we've done well, whatever happens now is a bonus. Not a time to get over-excited, it's a time to play our own game and see what happens. If his team deliver on that, could be a great month.
