With all the tension of this weekend I had completely forgotten that the Final is on tomorrow. Sad to say I doubt if I'm that bothered these days yet it used to be one of the years highlights settling down in the morning to watch all the coverage on Grandstand.

On a scale of 1-10? Zero interest in this game

My mate's going - in the Wigan end. He bought the mid price tickets - £70. Seems as though the likely play-off final prices are now the same as the FA Cup final - which really shows how interest and emphasis has changed.

Yep,.. its fallen victim to the Prem hype,... but also because the semis and playoffs are at Wembley, so the excitement of the day as it was up to the 80's is just not there anymore,.....shame on the PL, shame on the FA.

Bit of a non event these days isn't it. The FA have completely killed it.

I wish they'd lobby UEFA to have a Champions League spot awarded to the winner, to give it back some badly needed credence.

Early evening kick off too.

For two teams from Greater Manchester. Well done the FA, for finally killing off what used to be a great competition.

When was the last really thrilling FA Cup Final? 2006? West Ham vs Liverpool?
