This is simply wrong. Buckley moved I to the middle to replace Barnes near the end. KLL was mainly in space on the left and as ever drifted in looking for the ball.
Exactly. Ninja Elephant would have more credibility if his observations werent so selective and self serving.
Oscar will be more direct than Gus. I'm liking that already. In his frustration (with Barnes) with our finishing he has done what many suggested and pished one of our beat finishers...
Great post. Voice of reason.
Lots to admire amongst the rustiness and debuts yesterday. I was particularly pleased to see us starting our attacks from midfield rather than passing the ball repeatedly sideways just outside our penalty box. Once the midfielders gel (and we get Liam back) this...
Not expert enough at football tactics to know who was to blame but we seemed to lack a player who covered in front of the back four. Time and again in the first half Derby were attacking wide and laying off the ball to the edge of the box. Whose job was it to cover that? Would normally be...
Was reported on bbc to be carrying a groin injury at Leeds so fits. Shame though - we - or rather our back four - seriously missed him yestersay. Lost count of how many pull backs Derby picked up.
Erm..... our best player injured leaving a dev squad player to cover (which btw loads of people were pressing for on here). Orlandi missing. David with no pre season. Hardly the same team.
Should have drawn away. Making xhance after chance yestetday despite missing/new/young players. Two...
I was at that game. A promotion chasing side against relegation fodder and not one shot. Showed the limitations of our management team at the time. Conservative, cautious, possession driven - but you still have to be offensive and we were simply passive. I don't doubt that will change this year.
That Peterborough supporting twit on Talk Sport was talking about how pleased he was that Newport won. And he specifically made reference to the Calde tackle as disgusting. Oddly this was after Edinburgh was on the same station saying that having seen the tackle again they did not think it was a...
Correct One Love. Wasn't suggesting that holiday insurance would have helped in this specific case. I suspect you would need private medical care or a repatriation insurance of some kind is you are a British citizen and have moved to another country.
Despite the fact that this poor lady had moved to Greece earlier this year, this horrible incident is still a timely reminder for people to make sure they have holiday insurance. It costs pennies and would remove layers and layers of pain and stress if an incident like this were to happen.
