[Music] Best Tunes With Worst Lyrics

I agree - love Squeeze. I always thought the 'give the dog a bone' line was metaphorical, but not so sure now.

[Music] Best Tunes With Worst Lyrics

And don't stop there - it goes further downhill.. - down to an incubator [why would you take someone to an incubator to give birth?] where 30 minutes later she gave birth to a daughter within a year a walker Most squeeze lyrics are great - no idea what happened with this one.

[Food] A thread for us to hold hands and stand together as one.

I was surprised to discover when I went to live on the other side of the pond, that no one has a kettle in their kitchen.

[Music] Nice song with 'Matters' in the title

I never really see the point in replying to these threads with a long list of Googled/generated answers. Why not contribute one and leave some for others - that's more in the spirit of it isn't it?

Lovely view, but ruined by that massive square white eyesore.

    [TV] Smart TVs

I'm no expert, but I don't think that is correct. There was no need to change aerials at the digital switchover a few years ago. That's not to say if its an old knackered one it won't benefit from upgrading, but I'm pretty sure there is no fundamental difference. Edit - sorry, I see you...

    [Food] Getting a dog

You WILL end up walking it yourself, so be prepared to make a 15 year commitment to walk twice a day in all weathers. Great exercise though. Also be prepared for the ongoing expenses like inoculations and insurance, which goes up as they get older. My 12 y/o collie is now pushing £50 a month...

[Albion] Will we stay up? Your thoughts

Before all this I think we were dead certs for going down. I think if we do resume, things will be completely different. All form goes out the window and it becomes a completely different competition that will be decided by who has managed their preparations better than the others. I think...

Main Coronavirus / Covid-19 Discussion Thread

But the police saying it? Its not up to the police to moralise at people, they should be concerned with law enforcement. If I want moral guidance I'll call the vicar, not bloody Dixon of Dock Green.

Main Coronavirus / Covid-19 Discussion Thread

This rule is clear. You can travel any distance to take exercise. Is that so hard for them to understand? It's not for them to agree or disagree with it, just to enforce it.

Main Coronavirus / Covid-19 Discussion Thread

The police once again seem to think that it is up to them to set the rules. "South Lakes Police said people should "take a long, hard look at your own conscience" if planning to visit the area." As we all know the police force are the experts here  They should be implementing the rules...

    [Football] The “No Relegation” debate

A tad harsh... I think I would be saying that regardless. It's not perfect but it's the lesser of the various evils. But you are right - especially if Fulham happen to have a much easier run-in than West Brom. I can't see that there is any option that is fair on everyone - other than...

    [Football] The “No Relegation” debate

The only option that makes sense to me is to bin the season, no relegation, but promote the top 2 in all other leagues, then relegate an extra club over the next 2 seasons.
