With you on pretty much all of that, especially the seemingly damaging way he lobs racism claims around. Prime example being his firm belief that he'd have been England captain if he was white, rather than it being to people who (presumably) aren't divisive bellends.
It's a load of bollocks until you end up with an employer who decides to regularly harrass someone when they're off, make them feel irrationally guilty and try to force them back into work.
I don't imagine many people would use those rules to get work to back off if they've a good relationship...
You're assuming they actually want to recruit them in the first place. As with most places I suspect the powers that be want to get by using just the bare minimum as even a little disruption is probably cheaper than hiring people.
That would imply that NW is actually trying to communicate something with his choice of clubs rather than just moving up through the leagues wherever the opportunity happens to arise.
It's not going to spoil things now but the earlier seasons of the show correlated a lot more with the books, meaning that the big twists were sadly already known to those of us that'd gone through them. Anyone's guess what happens now!
The Walking Dead is a little different in that whilst...
He did ok at spurs, to start with, and judging him on his time at Villa is probably a little harsh.
That said, he does appear to be a complete pillock with the tactical nous of a particularly dim carrot.
In true Game of Thrones style, I'm believing nothing until I've seen the body.
Even then it would need the head removed just to be sure. I still expect to see Arya's fencing instructor from the first series rock up at some point (also never seen as dead in the books).
Cheers both, that's how it seemed to me as a casual observer but there was no way I was reading through that many pages of (sometimes) vitriolic hooha for fun!
For me personally, without saying which way I'm leaning as I don't think it matters for what I'm saying next, neither side has yet to...
So, many many posts in to this mammoth thread and I feel like it's worth asking this;
Has anyone actually reconsidered how they're likely to vote on referendum day during the lifespan (or even because) of this thread?
Genuinely curious if it has had an impact somewhere down the line or if...
Excellent stuff, I've no doubt a player of such exemplary skills and attitude will be a real asset to that absolute joke of a league. Well suited to each other really.
Can imagine his first old firm derby will be an event as well.
Fairly certain you'd have figured it out next time you were waiting (and waiting, and waiting) on a platform...
Course they would, but it would be as a 'peasant wagon'.
He's the reason I won the champions league, ends up being a glorious forward.
Of course, using the wonderful logic of FM, I'd put some money aside for a couple of Belarusian 16 year olds as well.
