Funny, because when God save the Queen was being sung my little granddaughter ask if they were singing GOSBTS.
She knows the words of GOSBTS so maybe she heard it as well?
Why not get a small wheeled bike something like a Brompton. You can pick a used one on ebay for £400-£500 and there fantastic.
Look here The Path Less Pedaled at what you can carry on one and how small they fold!
I cycled yesterday and really enjoyed it. I went Acker79's route keeping away from the busy Lewes rd.
I gave myself plenty of time arriving with a good feeling that i've done some good for my heart and the environment.
I would say if your thinking about cycling, do it. You'll feel good about it.
I did a test run on saturday along the Lewes rd riding my 16" wheeled fold up bike towing a loaded trailer and it was a bit nerve racking with buses and lorrys speeding by. I think i shall find a route though the back streets of Moulscome and then ride up the path that runs up behind the station.
Is this route all cycle lane or do you ride on the road?
I ask because i want to ride using a small wheeled folding bike towing a trailer and am a bit worried riding on main roads !
