What Gus said after Palace was wrong, wrong, wrong but, in his defence, he could argue that it was said in the heat of the moment, a very emotional moment.
This was cold blooded. A statement releaced on a Sunday evening and whilst he is live on national TV, why? I think it's a disgraceful way...
Lawenson was a massive signing for a 3rd div 'unknown'. Sayers showed that we were big spenders, buying a star player from a rival club. Maybank seemsed a bit silly and I reckon there was a bit of Mullers helping out his old club, Fulham.
Back in those days teams bought 3 or 4 players a season...
Too many outsiders making an amaturist attempt at creating their own Utopia and saving us from inbreeding.
They don't understand our great City or that this dispute is costing the City millions.
I also fondly remember the no 13 to Coldean.
A also remember the football specials running through Coldean. There could be as many as 3 of them, one ran on to Bevendean & I think one ran from Lewes.
In true NSC tradition I must ask "source?"
All the best and look forward to seeing you again once this football lark starts again. Must say there are better ways to spend the close season though!
As others have said, take care and will be thinking of you & your family out there. Would hate anything to befall one of our better posters.....and potential war correspondent!
I think somebody must have got the ordering very wrong judging by the amount of stuff that has been on 'sale' for many months yet we still seem to have loads left. It's not as if we haven't sold much either, everybody seems to have an Albion shirt.
Pretty sure this is an area barber will be...
I've suggested before 2 possible sites both near the bypass.
There are car parks in Crowhurst Road (not Asda!) and also the Greyhound stadium, who could also do deals for the Sat evening meetings.
He worked his socks off, often alone up front. Anyone who was there would remember his one man forward line displays absolutly battering Posh twice at London Road.
Wouldn't want him for manager though, given where we are now.
