What I can't understand is that, in summer time a warm night and difficulty sleeping is something like 15 degrees yet in wintertime my Mrs keeps whacking the thermo up to 20 as it's cold!
Meanwhile they have a shop in the town centre, passed daily by thousands of potential 'customers' yet no notice advertising any games and, even if there were you would be unable to purchase a ticket there.
Is this called marketing?
We did play in an 'Arsenal' kit and very smart it was too.
I was also at that Bristol Rovers game at Eastville. It was a very northern division with no London teams and was one of only 3 away gasmes I could manage, the others being Bournemouth & Villa.
The picture shows John Napier up (or...
I went to a BBQ up Queens park way but we were pestered by seagulls. One actually took a peice only to drop it pretty sharpish for fear of being BBQ'd itself.
Any tips on keeping the gulls away?
With all the tourists in town maybe they should display a poster advertising this game in the Queens Road office and, better still, sell tickets from there.
So that's a thumbs down then!
The spelling of Barbour was deliberate as I did not want to acredit a quote to somebody when they obviously didn't.
There was a serious point about surcharges & also the Queens Road ticket office. it seems crazy that in a City full of foreign tourists our city...
A 'sauce' has told me that, because of FFP and the need to cover costs and following the introduction of booking fees for everyone, the club is now looking to recoup some of the tremendous cost of flood & safety lighting for night matches.
Spokes person, Paul Barbour, states that the leccy...
My scenario is this. I'd like to go to the 2 Amex friendlies and take a g/child with me. Being WSU it doesn't look like that area will be open, besides, I may fancy sitting elsewhere.
I have a card but g/child, although on the system, does not. I don't have a working printer. I work near the...
Seeing this thread come up again filled me with dread. I do hope you can gather your strengh, your family & support and do battle once again.
WQe're all rooting for you.
Having watched Skins this week (and actually since the 1st series), the girl who plays Effy is pretty hot.
Closer to home, I've been waiting for my topless next door neighbour to turn around, but she has now put a shirt on. Bugger.
If he is having trouble getting around then contact the club as there are loads of disabled places and you might even get in at a discount as a 'helper'. Other than that, go for West or East stand on the lower tier. Loads of leg room and, provided you are not rushing out, there's little reason...
Didn't there used to be a set transaction fee online last year, so you could buy many tickets with just a £2.00 fee but now it's £1.00 per ticket.
Was hoping to treat a few of the kids to the friendlies & Newport game but they don't look so cheap now (baring in mind these are kids who may or...
I come from Coldean and, during the mid 70's I knew a lovely girl from Iceland who was living in the UK and she used to come along to the Goldstone to watch Peter Ward. Where is she now?
Anyway, you must therefore be a top bloke/girl. Not sure if you can ring 0845 from overseas, may be best via...
