The mirror thing is so true.
I once went to a wedding, think it was at Metropole, maybe Grand, and I turned a corner to see somebody walking towads me. I veered to one side but the pratt did the same, moving over to block me so I moved across the other way, he moved the same, then I twigged...
Well he came into my mind yesterday also and I was telling people at work about him. I did read up on t'internet and it makes more of him doing a poo in the Mansfield bath but does also mention Lawro's kit bag.
Although we was a cult hero at Reading, we had a team of stars and I don't recall...
Saturday afternoons before Sky, Internet etc.
Wrestling was essential viewing, was between the horse racing and the vidiprinter with the football scores where you had the tension as that funny machine would type out team names and you'd hope & pray for the right result.
Mick McManus was the...
Bailey's team had some great heroric wins, backs to the wall stuff. But teams got wise. I went to every game back then, home & away and away games soon became a case of holding on to our 0-0 start but eventually, after about 70 mins, we would concede. Then you might just as well go home because...

Fat Frank did play in that pre season friendly. I also believe his 1st ever goal came at the Goldstone, may even have scored both that night, for Swansea. he was on loan from West Ham.
Have to admit to becoming a bit bored with the pies and the quality has definatly dropped. I used to be able to eat the pies without a fork but now the crust is often rock hard & burnt and the filling is nuclear hot.
My source tells me that the whole background to this shooting was not drugs at all but is inFACT the result of a simmering fued between two parties over a Marathon Challenge that was not taken up.
It's sad but the dead man will make a lot of dosh for charridy.
My positives from last night....
In 77/78 we missed out on promotion, being stitched up by Saints & Spurs contriving a draw that saw them both go up. We went up the following year as a better team.
Promotion probably too soon for us this year. We still have players from Div 1 and our Youth &...
Palace are not expected to bring many and have complained about one of the new security stipulations. It's the one about having to bring a note from your dad.
