I do blame them. However, even if they had run the best campaign ever, the tabloid press would have backed leave. The irony of people who read the Sun wanting to leave to regain their sovereignty is amusing when the Sun is owned by an Australian/American

To be honest, judging by your views on here, you seem to be exactly the bigoted type of person that many of the leave supporters are trying to avoid talking about. So thanks

What a load of rubbish. You can be patriotic without being xenophobic. Sadly many people in this country fail to do it

The government were in favour of remain and that obviously helps. This was for a couple of months. Right wing tabloids like the Mail and Sun have been constantly sniping at the EU for 20/30 years. Personally, I don't think there should have been a referendum. If the Tories had any strength...

    [Politics] Brexit

It's not a pledge too far, it's complete rubbish. Even before the final result was confirmed, it was admitted. I've never seen a campaign promise broken so quickly. The lies and scaremongering of leave were an absolute disgrace yet got little mention while remain were berated for theirs. This is...

Pre season signings 2016-17 season ** Official Thread **

In fairness, he got five goals in two thirds of a season. Not that much of a jump to ten goals in a season. Not saying I want Wilson but that response to the initial post is unnecessary.

Pre season signings 2016-17 season ** Official Thread **

I agree. Was hoping, as we don't need the number of players we did last season, that we would be a pretty much complete squad by mid July. There's no need to panic but we really need to get at least one striker in soon so we have a bit of depth for the start of the season. Others can wait if...

Completely agree. All I've seen is concern from remain supporters. Leave on the other hand seem to arrogantly believe that because 52% voted for their view, there's nothing to worry about and everything will just fall into place. Sadly, I think they are in for a wake up call.

Maybe. I studied politics so it always seemed really important to me but you might be right. It does seem a little illogical as all votes count the same and if everyone had that view then it wouldn't be much of an election!

It was always a problem as young people tend not to vote in the numbers required. Personally, I have always voted in election and cannot understand anyone not voting, especially in something as important as this week.

It is the same but general elections are only for five years, not forever. As for lies on both sides, I agree to a degree but the right wing press have been anti EU and been criticising it for decades while there's been very little pro EU coverage in the papers ever so the remain campaign were...

Agree with this. Bruno was fantastic last season but I'd like to see Rosenior and Bong as our two first choice full backs this season with Bruno and a new left back as back up.

Believe me, I am also annoyed at that. I am pissed off with the remain campaign too as well as the lies of leave.

I want to ensure my taxes don't go towards covering places that voted out and now don't get EU subsidies.

What decision? I am annoyed that the older generation screwed up the future for the younger generation. There's a bit of evidence to back it up and previous polls on who is more Euro Sceptic has suggested the older generation are. It's not rocket science.

Page one of this thread is where the poll is included. You can argue with the word fact if you want but it fits all ideas of different generations that are commonly held.

Maybe a troll wasn't the right word but it is one of the worse things about the Internet that people can say what they want on the Internet but won't stand up for them in real life. There's been a lot of EU talk on here over the last few months, which I've avoided until today, but I think you...

Brilliant goal. Can't believe he managed to score from there.

Can you blame them? They have one Tory MP but this awful government is inflicted on them in some policy areas. All areas of Scotland voted to stay in the EU yet they are forced to leave. Hardly much reason there for them to stay is there. I've always hoped Scotland stay in the union but now...

I do when they reflect common sense. The older generation is, on the whole, more Euro sceptic and the younger generation more open to closer ties with Europe. It's not difficult.
