Thanks Arthur. Sadly, it's closed on a Sunday according to PUBS.COM Pub Guide.
:thud:
So, does anyone know a good, traditional style London boozer which will be open next Sunday and hopefully serving food?!
Trish was reminiscing about a pub somewhere in the Liverpool Street area. She thinks it was called the Dickens or something to do with Charles Dickens. No doubt it got knocked down in the redevelopment but does anyone know the place she is on about?????
Russ
My wife Trish would say "Who the f**k are you?" which is what she said to him after the first game at Withdean when we met him and Corky in the Evening Star and he put his arm around her!!!!
Well, those who were with us found it funny!
I'm looking at maybe buying one when I'm back in the UK at Christmas. Anyone know how heavy they are as baggage restrictions could be a bit tight.
Cheers

I'm donning my Palookaville shirt and going to the Maracana to see Flamengo v Bolonhesi in the Copa Libertadores. Next stop Withdean 10 days later!

Does that mean they'll have to do it at Withdean? I guess the Swansea fans are going to desperate for a weekend in...
The £500 is just solicitors fees for selling, inc tax. It's a further 350 for the HIP. The agent says that only one person has requested to see a HIP and therefore it is a waste of money but compulsory! None of the estate agents offer HIPs in the area (Bridgend, South Wales) so we have to get it...
Anyone got any experience of this? Been quoted £500 and have the Home Information Pack to buy too for £350. Does this sound about right or a bit on the expensive side just for selling?
Russ
Well anything must be better than what I'm about to go and do in Argentina to send a package home.
Step One: Go to the Aduana (Customs) and wait in a queue for 30-60 minutes depending on whether there are one or two Israelis/French in front of you, just so the customs guy can approve of what...
