Well done for following up a blindingly obvious thread with another blindingly obvious thread.
Let me follow it up again by saying whatever runs Sri Lanka get, we must get more.
Let us say a hypothetical manager X operates a policy of buying and selling players continuously as it is in his personal interest (sell on fees etc) to do so. What if this continuos rotation of players leads to a degradation in performance of the side on the pitch which ultimately leads to a...
So making £20M on one player and winning an FA Cup is ok enough for you if Gus did that for Brighton and in doing so he led the club to the brink of financial ruin (i.e administration bordering on liquidation) while doing it and then p155ed off?
I am not sure if this is a wind up. If so you have got me hook line and sinker, fair play. I tell you what he did at Portsmouth on a shoestring.....took them to financial ruin and damn near oblivion.
Gus linked with a job that doesn't even exist yet. Yeah why not, after all on NSC he is linked with every other managerial vacancy available.
In my opinion the ICC needs to say this to Test umpires. Your primary objective at a test is to get as many of the 90 overs played as possible. (Do the ICC not realise that no-one goes to tests any more, except in England)
On rainy days such as this they could
Truncate or skip lunch/tea breaks...
With all that rain and sitting around doing sweet FA and the fans who paid top dollar for a ticket, is it really necessary to take tea 1 hour or so into the start of the game after 4 hours or so wating. Sometimes you do wonder about cricket and it's unnecessary at times, idiosyncrasies.
